Easy Ryder ( Auto Ak47 x LowrRyder#2 fem) hydro/waterfarm

i did this backwards....and started a personal journal, now i am trying to make it public... for now till i can transfer all my info from there to here bare with me please...... and i will re post every thing... i have alot of pix to post..... and just so u all know i have the heat problem soloved and the burning tips.... she is on day 13.....question's ask em, comments leave em...

what is that ring real? is that the watering system for the waterfarm? looks pretty cool.. i've been really thinking hard about trying some sort of hydro / dwc / bubbleponics..

these r from day 13 today...i here i am..up and operating..... lil girl is happier temp is 75 and holding since 7 am when i checked first thing today...even now 75f and 23% humidity... much better.... new nodes, the burning stoped, i added 2 fans to the one i already had. so now i have one circulation and 2 exhaust...it made a world of difference..... the closet temp were up around 90 and completely unstable and all is good, i am now using ph'ed water only one more week and we go to 1/2 maybe even 1/4 strength nutes....i will be using fox farm liquid nutes this grow.... sorry im not listing every thing i have in use if u want to know ask me...i will tell ya...

hey racer..... yeah the ring is the watering sys...called a drip ring which is attatched to a pumping colum in which the solution travels from the res to the 2 gall grow chamber.....the water farm is pretty simple if u have timers it practically runs it self..every 7-14 day have 2 change my res depending on on a few things maybe top off with fresh ph'ed ya know..... happy this is the route i chosse out of all i looked up and researched........so simple pump is quite, i will be upgrading my pump and drillin some bigger holes in the 2 gall bucket/ chamber, for next time around, for now we r go man..... thanx for all ur help getin here man........thank u every one who helped me get here...doesnt look like much, but it is 2 me.....first grow hydro....

water farms are pretty nice, my buddy uses one with great success... sub'd cant wait to watch em grow.

so the burning is stopped but the light is up around 30" (off the top of the bucket)..... lil thing just keep on growing... all is good thus far....... startig to wonder how long the roots r... prolly not all that long yet but...this little plant is grow so fast......like a weed lol

You're going to like waterfarms. I just finished 3 Easyryders in waterfarms and 600w HPS. pulled 18 zips of totally dank bud after 75 days. The biggest challenge was keeping the PH down, i adjusted it daily for the entire grow.

Im a waterfarm convert, got a Critical+ about 2 weeks from harvest and a Kandy Kush in vegging stages.
I was planning on putting 4 auto AKxDiesel in one of my waterfarms when the critical+ is done. Ill lst them sideways and let em grow! Im interested to see how autos do in waterfarms, done some in soil and pulled about 33g of each one.
Waterfarms need modding, drill loads of holes in the bottom of the top bucket, add an airstone to the rez and when the plant gets taller cover the top of the farm, it stops the ring clogging up. The PH settles down after a week or two.

hey thanx badger......oooooooooo that kk looks sooooo good if its done right... the AAKxLR2 is just a trial run to make sure i can get it right before getting into more expensive seed....but dont get me wrong i have planed it this way for some time, and the AAK is my added bonus..9 weeks from bean to harvest gnarly ....i wanna get an 8 site for my outdoor g/h.....thts later...yeah ill mod the farm when i grow a larger plant next time around.....

yup it was 75 days seed to finish. about 10% amber trich's at that point. still curing but is a nice smoke and good soaring buzz

sweet...great news...the dwarfs really caught my eye with their hasty finish short stature and the good smoke .....hoping for great smoke when i am done.........

so i have something i need to show every one. this is my friends bag seed, no bull shit..now this lil girl is 3months old i know it is i chill with its owner everyday.and it is not mine and when it got it first set of nodes i started to flower, but see how tiny tiny tiny, but deep purp bud lil buds but purp.....take a look let me know whut u think..... it's kind crazy that it is so small.........i wonder........it started it's life with natural light sitting in a window...my friend doesnt even care about it, his ol' ladie dropped the bean and now it is in a closet with a plain ol cfl on it...i ave suggested thing to them and they wont do n e thing.....i would like some one to tell me why it stayed so little...oh yeah idk how, but its light is on 24 hrs now...this lil thing is crazy in every way...and it smells so strong.....idk...

The only cleaning you should need to do is to drain all the water out and flush it through. I keep my waterfarm on a 6 inch box to keep it above floor level, so I can drain water down out of the level tube. You can lift the top off slowly to check your roots if you want, just dont drop it! I havent had to actually clean the farm, only flushed it out every two weeks or so

Just looks like in the above pictures that maybe he didnt have the light close enough. Nor maybe did it even have enough watts for the plant. I am doing a CFL grow now it is my first one. Growing the same stuff that you are growing right now. Plus you said your friend got it from bagseed, bagseed doesnt always come out great all of the time because of many different factors including not knowing the genetics of the seed in general. Just my opinion on that.

nah my friend's girl accually planted it and just left it in a room on window sill a.just reg light from the sun...i gave them 125W cfl though that they use now...but still it is a gnarly lil thing......oh..and yeah it was a bag seed......now just so you r aware i am using a 400w M/H in 2.5W X 86L X 12'H.......one plant....... think today is day 17, not near my calendar though....so far so good. we had a heat issue right at the begining when i got the light....now we're around 75 all the time.....24 hrs light for now.....it's crazy to see how quick these autos grow.....i've seem some that other friends have grown and they just take their time......wanna grow some P.E. next and upgrade to another possible 2 more water farms.......using fox farm nutes.......f

7 days has past since i changed the water in the res...so i did it today.....using 1/2 strength nutes...she seems a lil sad today and i dont know why......but on a good note lots of new nodes showing ...i'll post more pix tonight. The ph is 6.0 and the ppm foxfarm calls for on it schedule is 1120-1260, week2 going into 3 which she is........the ppm is 603 so roughly half strength...light is 24" above the bucket..temp is 72f with low hunidity @ 16%......i think we're rollin now......

Just to answer your question you have asked me. I am using Nirvana Flowering Tabs right from their website. I heard they work great with auto's in general as long as you just put half a tablet into the soil with them. Auto's can be very sensitive to nutrients at some times. The flowering tabs imo are the easiest way to go because than I dont have to worry about using them every single day or when you have to feed them in general. It releases the correct amount that is need for the plant.
