Mate, sounds like i need to investigate this coir stuff. My next run i'll be using hempy too, taking down my tent and just using my cfl box. Its producing some solid buds for cfls.
Dude definitely go for the DJ Short blueberry man, i highly recommend it that or the sagarmartha blueberry bud as its from the very first line of dj's blueberry from when he worked there. It has more of the old school flavour and yield like the ones i have. Not sure how the new line goes though man as mine are from pre 2000 which i seeded up to get some f2's to keep

Coirs defo worth a shot mate.
The only gripe ive got with cfl's is slow growth in veg they fight stretch really well in flower if ya keep em close upto day 19 or bout there.
I have ta tell ta bro i was gonna give up on blue strains but you've just gave me an extra few runs on em lol

I agree with the cfls too, im thinking of putting 2 t5ho's on the sides of the box for extra side lighting too, will see how it pans out.

Cheers bro. I keep em 2-3inch above til maybe half way through week 6 then keep a gap of 4ish til fininsh. Or move em about to get a lil more stretch (ive flowered once with em close the plant only grew 6" total after flip)

Here's some more bud porn of my outdoor grow at my mates house. Had to pick them as they had some mould growing due to the fuckload of rain we've had lately. I reckon we'll end up with about 7-8 oz of really good smoke though. They both came out with some beautiful purple hues as the weather got a bit cold lately too. The pics don't really do them justice but they were extremely resinous!! The blue og could've gone another 2 weeks but the shark was ready today.

Yeah man, we've had heaps of rain and cooler nights the last few weeks, hence why we chopped them a little early. We lost about an ounce or so to mould already, didnt want to lose any more
The colours on these babies looks awesome, going to have good bag appeal

I had some clones rotting on me as well.I still have to address what happened.Maybe i should have changed the reservoir a little sooner?clean it every 1 week ? man most of them were males(i've flowred almost all the bluebies)..ALTHOUGH there was a blueberry pheno,that did not gave a fuck mate.And those 4 clones that survived and are females ofc,will be mother 1# for now.I'll save her 100%,and probably another pheno.I'll have to see how they smoke too!!What's up mate ?I've been absent for a while..this site won't email me the new updates ^^

You should do better in soil maaaaaan..!! You're growing better in perlite which is harder,since you have a lot more variables to adjust but you'll get your smoke for sure ! The lady is budding up quite well mate.You just flipped the switch on 12/12 ? I've read some ''posts'' letting the plants 36 hours in dark,then start to count your flowering days..What's your thoughts on that mate ?She looks awsome !

Yeah 7-8 is fine for me which will give me 4 oz of personal smoke until my hydro is done
Damn that sucks about your clones mate, sounds like the rockwool stayed too wet and didnt dry out enough. Id say your water level must be too high that the rockwool is soaking up the water rather than getting the oxygenated bubble water. Try lowering the level of your res to about 3 inches below the rockwool/basket or whatever your using.
Fark thats crazy about the males hey, i think the male blueberry i used has given a higher male to female ratio as i had to pop 7 of each just to get 1 female to grow this time maybe its also the universe making the decision for you of which female to use glad you got one out it at least, maybe pollinate her with one of the males to give you more beans to play with!

I usually give my girls about 24hrs dark and then count. Dunno if it works but shes budding away now! I also use a 13/11 timing so only 11 hours of light and she seems to be responding real well.

Im going good man, under the pump at work, uni and home so shit is hectic! Going to use hempy buckets for my next run to save some time and money on nutes

Ah well..I didn't get quite specific about it..the rotten clones were the ones in the cloning machine ( with the sprinkers inside) . The clones that i've had from my first run ( some Critical,Flower power did very fine,i'm seeing shoots on almost all of em,and i used some rooting plugs ) . I'll be transplanting tomorrow,all the clones that have roots(from the plugs),and of course all the female clones(from the nutriculture system,which many of them have roots ,at least 7 days sooner than those in the plugs).I believe i should have be more careful regarding the res...clean it thoroughly and change the water sooner.I could have also added some nutes,very diluted,since they did grew about 5-6cm.250 HPS is NOT good for rooting( they were getting reflected light,which was much weaker than the original output,yet it was definitely too strong).Also,i believe that the plants that survived my fault,are actually the ones are mould resistant since they grew in the same environment .I can see that frostness mate.It definitely is something new ! Man i would suggest you should grow the Ogre ( auto+fem seeds ). It's probably 45 days old,maybe a little more,about 1m tall,and it smells like ripe watermelon.So so nice and fruity.Can't tell how it smokes yet .Mhm..regarding odor control,i was reading a journal,regarding smell and happy plants.He said that happy plants,that get what they need,don't smell.Well i'd really want to try that.See what makes them odorless,and keep doing it until it's harvest time..it does worth the experiment tho ! Well i did not gave em anything.Straight 12/12.It will probably take a little longer,but i was a little worried about stressing them..I just found the other thread,no worried.Probably the journals were not restored a few days ago.Hempy buckets like ? Mate ive got so many different strains hey, im more than happy with the ones ive got lol.
Man i wouldnt believe that about healthy plants having no odour, maybe outdoor but indoor is nearly impossible. Ive grown many plants over the years and it is strain dependent no environmental. Always worth experimenting though.
Hempys are simple as, just a bucket with a hole in the side for overflow, you only have to water every few days then so will save a shit load of time and money

Mate this mako shark is looking real nice at the moment, quickly becoming my favourite strain i reckon. The blue skunk i made is also a true winner, so much resin already. Dunno if i'll grow bigger plants with it though as its stinking my whole place out and its only a foot tall lol.
