I have a bag of earthworm castings at my house. Never used it before althought I've heard good things (gives plants food that do not burn them)

Im GOING TO be getting some Perlite (this is my second grow and perlite seems to be the way to go).

The soil im going to use is Fox Farm ocean forrest..maybe even mixed with a pinch(5%) of light warrior.

What would be a good mix to use? Can I use all those?

I thought Firefox already had worm castings in it?! either way I don't think your really gonna need a lot of extra castings but it shouldn't hurt either.

Now perlite would be definitely be good with adding an additional 20-30% should good.

FF already has ewc but since you got them they wont hurt, they have trace nutrients and feed your little soil microbes

I would add earthwom castings forsure/ I started with Roots 707, but would use Fox Farm anyday. I added perlite, vermiculite, worm castings, and some guano. Take a look at the grow in my sig for the exact recipe. Awesome consistency, very fluffy, and the plants love it.

I use FFOF 40%
Perlite 40%
Light warrior 20%

They love it IMO.

I would throw in a little EWC if I had some.

Love the replies everyone.

I guess I WILL be adding in light warrior so it the mix will be:

40%FFOF
30%Perlite
15%EWC
15%Light Warrior

Hows that looking?

Should I even use this mix with my 16oz party cups to start seedlings in?
