earth juice question?

first time using EJ. when mixing in a gallon container how long does it stay fresh? cause i read on there feed chart to feed that day. anyone have any input? example: when using for small babys that dont need watering everyday. not to worried about older plants cause i will need more water.

Hey Das. With earthjuice you need to aerate it for 24 hours because the ph in a gallon of water will be 4.5 - 5.5. I aerate mine with wormcastings and mollassas to make a excellent growth tea. As far as how long it lasts after mixed....I have no idea because I always aerate mine for 30 hours into a tea then use. I would think that it would last prolly 24 hours after makeing the tea though the microbes will start to die as soon as the air is turned off.

No, you do not have to aerate Earth Juice. You can let it sit for a few hours or up to a day maybe but it should be used as soon as possible. Anything aerated should be used immediately, wouldn't want that to sit at all.

Ok...when I mix earthjuice catalyst....which is what I was refering to as thats all I have used....it will have a really low ph until its aerated. Thats been my experience anyway.
