hi its now my second grow i baught 20 regular early girl seeds but all didnt germanate.. i think i got 10 or 12. and 7 unknown witch came from a bud my mate had. and growin 4 blue cheese and 5 l.a confidential. the blue cheese and l.a are currently in green house and are about 6/7 inchs tall and wil get put in a tent because i am in middle of moving house. and the unknown and early girl are about a foot or foot and a half thick and healthy trees lol. my question is when will they start to budd? i know it depends on the change of year longer nights.. im in northeast of england and 1st outdoor grow i have read early girl would be near enough a guarantee sucess for a uk summer grow with yeild etc just need to feed them. so would it be about august time they slowly start to flower? it suposed to be mid or end sept harvest... any help cheers

cannabis will start flowering when it wants to.. therefore, since I cannot predict the future (I'm not a psychic).. and neither can anyone else.. I would have to say no, we cannot tell you or predict exactly when a plant will start to flower (show sex).

Mj usually starts flowering once the light is down to around 14 hours per day. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/astronomy.html?n=136 this link will give you an idea when that will be for where you live in the UK. You will probably be better off manipulating your plants to force them to flower earlier than they would naturally in the UK since an end of August start of flowering could leave you will plants ouside in November depending on the strain. As for showing sex, many plant will pre-flower giving you an indication of sex but this is not guaranteed. Also, plants will only flower if sexually mature. Sexual maturity is indicated by alternating nodes. Before alternating nodes, where the branches come off the main stem, they will be in pairs, once alternating, single branches appear. Perhaps(YAWN) you are just too stoned to think clearly, or maybe you have absolutely no idea how to communicate in a proper manner. How about giving this guy a break instead of answering in such a smug manner...your answer is pointless so why bother?
Early girl will certainly start to flower at 14h or even 15h (by calendar) of sunlight. This is why it's early. Just use green light flashlights at night. You don't want to use flowering times (like 8 weeks, 6 weeks etc.) in outdoor growin'. Some strains (not sativa) starts flowering in the beginning of august, and finishes only in the beginning of November. It's because sun is so gradual.

so if i put them in a shed at 8pm and braught them out at 8am 12 hours of darkness, and where i am in uk the light drops to 14hours on 27th august 10 hours of darkness. and i just took them out and left them in the green house, so they wil be losing 2 hours of darkness as from 27th will it harm them losing the 2 hours or is it best just to keep movin them in and out until harvest
