early force pollinating of males

I just had an odd experience with a breeding project. I had a dozen females that I had begun flowering sepporately from my other plants in my garden. a week later I started flowering a half dozen plants in another tent. after two weeks i found a male in the second tent that I wanted to use to pollinate the first tent that was a week farther into flower. This male was two weeks old and the females that surounded it were three weeks old. I have found that in the past most males begin to drop pollen after 3 weeks and can take up to 4 weeks to really drop the majority of their nut sacks. This male went into overdrive and imediately shot up and doubled in hight within 2 days and was popping pollen out in 3 days. it was fully bloomed and pollen dropping withing 5 days. beofre it reached 3 weeks it was fullly dropping its nuts and it was on full pollination before it was even 3 weeks old. I ran this by a fellow gardenign friend that told me that these plants can comunicate and that the older fmelaes may have told the male to hurry up since they were realdy for pollen and the male was not yet ready to produce it. I think this makes sence, but Im wondering if anyone else has had experieince with this or knows anythibg about it. thanks RIU!

bump, come on people, I am onto something here I think, you might be able to get faster flowering plants by putting them in rooms with other plants that are farther along, thoughts? n

That's a really interesting observation.
The older females signaled the younger males and one obliged.

How will this allow a grower to get a crop harvested faster?
This is the critical question.
It would seem that the males are dancing to the females tune (again? lol).
The app everyone would want is to shorten flowering.
That would involve a signal that the females responded to. I'm not sure how to make that one happen.

I hope i've got that right.
Anyone? Bueller?

Maybe try bumping this thread in the afternoon/evening.

This senario become intersting when I think of using a few males that are a week older than the females you add to thier space and see if it causes the females to catch up. In this circumstance there was 1 male and 15 females. 5 of which were the same age as the male and these same aged female plants did not speed up thier flowering speed. as if they might have heard the other, older females cries for pollen, but didnt care and went about their business as ussual.

im not sure if the female plants induced the male. But a fast flowering male my equal fast flowering seeds, witch will cut crop time witch is always good.
The male plant was absolutely induced by the older females. I have grown a dozen or more males out now over the last two years of breeding projects and what I saw was unseen by me previous to this circumstance. The male after two weeks was just showing signs of its sexuality and was just beginning to form its tops whenit was added to the new tent with older females. within 48 hrs it was in full bloom and was completely bloomed out ina week. Every other male I have grown has eased into thier pollen drops, not this one, this was like it was on steroids and cocaine! Have to admit I was a little jellous, the tent is right next to my bed adn this dude got a 16 some for a week and its been a dry spring for me this year. not the norm and now I have a bunch of ladybugs in my apt fucking and they are just rubbing it in my face. lol, brought them in to eat the mites that came formt eh neighborhood clone shop. DONT buy clones from Pure Orgeon. I got a case of mites and PM for the first time in 8 years. the PM that is, mites always seem to find me.

my question is if they are signaling each other why is it that when you clone your baby's might be signaling kin?? and thier for make room for other new genetics, take the cut somewere new and it will thrive???? untill its cloned again??? new seeds take off right ???? could it be that they are signaling underneath or over head outside of meadean????? fuck man good question wish you had more suffisticated equipment??? to test your theory???

Mites are a bitch ! I know have lost rooms to the bitches. If your trying to keep it all organic use predatory mites they work way better than lady bugs, you dont see them, and there not flying all around your house. i Think i saw your lady bugs doing it on intsagram lol... its a small world.
