EARLesque Hydro Feeding Method

this is a simple technique, meant for any brand nutrient, to help ensure overall plant health, stability with PH and nutrient concentrations. all too often growers will start out 1/4 strength of the label recommend mix, this is a great place to start because we do not want to burn plants, but what ends up happening is many people only want the best for thier plants and try to do too much. intermediate and experienced growers alike will want to push the limits of the plant by bumping the nutrient strength to the point of as long as it wont nute burn the plants it all good but in many cases in recircualting systems after a few feeding cycles the nutrient strength in the resivoir rises, causing the grower the add back plain water to dillute the mix. this shows that, although the plant is in perfect health, she is only taking what she needs and leaving the rest behind, this higher salt build up in my experiences have caused instability in the rez( PH and PPM rises) and its also a waste of nutrients. an example of this is lets say your plants are doing fine at 1000ppm but the next day your rez ppm is 1100 and the water level is getting low, this means your plants are drinking more water than taking up nutrients. now what i am trying to do is find the "sweet spot" of where the plants are taking up nutes and water at the same rate, if i start out at 800ppm and the next day nute solution is at 700ppm the plant is telling me she can take more, maybe a bump up to 900ppm. in past experiences i have bumped solution strenght according to plant stage or size, not caring what the plant said(yes my plants speak to me) with my old method of feeding this always caused me crazy PH spikes and if i wasnt ontop of it i would start to see leaf burns, and salts everywhere(with chem nutes) along with deficiencies from lockout. with earl's method i have never had healthier problem free plants and this taught me how to read the plant via water uptake, not just color of foliage so the moral of the story is, if you end up mixing nutreints in your addback that means your plant can take, if you have to add plain water to dillute the mix your already overfeeding, just because the plants are not burned doesn't mean your not over feeding.
Earl please feel free to add anything i missed

p.s. less is more and take it slowly

one thing i missed, depending on multi strains sharing a rez it will be harder to do this, some plants love as much nutes as you can feed and others will burn at low concentrations, this is why many growers do not like to mix strains, also for lucas formula users, if you are experiencing ppm rises and have to add back plain water to the rez, instead of using the 8ml/16ml mix try starting at 4ml/8ml and work your way up from there and find your sweet spot. i personally like additives especially during bloom so starting mid flower thats when i will begin to "push it" with the nute load, i use PbP and cal mag at 15/5 with sweet and LK, but during flower i swap the LK for fox farms powdered supplements and PK boosters at 1/4 strength ontop of my 15/5 side note 15/5 gives me around 800ppm and i go up from there as needed

+rep. I didn't need to pm ya. All the info's right here.

I'm at 800ppm and plants really love it. I doubt I'll go much higher.
