E-bikes, Very High Mpg Gas Bikes, Hybrids, Trikes, Electric Cars, DIY or Otherwise

If anyone here is cruising past the pumps in high mpg style, or plan to, or even just thinking about it lets talk about our options. Gas may not ever get cheaper and public transportation is no bargain or close or always convenient.

I have a couple 150cc and 250cc bikes, but am looking into building an electric or hybrid or something, and am looking for cool and or cost efficient ideas.

These are cool, but looks like a death trap in traffic, and these bikes without electric are still more expensive than both my scoot and motorcycle put together: And i just know it would get stolen...

I'm seriously looking into the Volt or Leaf, and I think everybody should be looking this direction. Get off the dependency for gas, enough is enough.

the lack of noise would scare the crap out of me...shit people get nailed on harley's and those things are loud...
