Dynagro is under-rated as fuck

Can I start with the Bloom now? I grow in soil. (Just Right and Roots Organic mix). Also do you use the protekt when you feed or water? Thanks again in advance.

Since your dirt has 'food' in it already, you might be able to get away with feeding only bloom as apposed to a combo of bloom and grow. In promix, 'grow' works awesome start to finish. Protekt can be used along with the bases at all stages of growth. Let the color of your leaves tell you what to do. Maybe start with half grow and half bloom?

To be fair, I'm basing this off my buddies feeding system, which also includes stuff like SuperThrive, Cannazyme, Hydrozyme, ect. No other base nutes or bloom boosters though.

I do not understand? Not saying anything bad about Dyna, but my math comes out a little different. Running on a PPM scale(not the bottle instructions)both AN and GH are actually more cost effective per ml.

Over the years I have used all three with excellent results. Cost is one of the main reasons I run AN and I like the results.

My research show Dyna is almost 15% more costly then both GH and An over a 5 mnth period, one complete cycle.

Unless their cost per ml. has come down in the last 3 years.

I had run with GH in past...I gotta say Dyna Gro is more cheaper. Dyna Gro fertilizers are highly conceration , compare to GH, you only need few MLs of DG and you need more MLs from GH, I usually ran out of GH products (quarts=$45) in about 2 months and DG last me about four or five months for only 20 dollars per quart, save my pocketbook a lot.

changed my bucket water tonight and I think I prob found my ph problem. Never really occurred to me... but as the root ball is getting big as fuck its starting to retain water... and also a lot of dead root mass, leaves, and barley from pond-zyme. Well, when I add ph up I just take 2ml or so in my little dropper and just squirt it in the bucket and let the airstone mix.

So all that 4.7 ph mass of roots was pretty much just bleeding out low ph into my buckets. I gave the roots a good as fuck dunking in a clean bucket of water and got all the shit out.

So we'll see how that goes. Going to make sure there is good water circulation through the rootball and I dunno if root mass falling off is normal, but im going to quick gentle flush the roots every res change I think.

The roots are white and big. Smell ok. I chopped a male and took apart the rockwool and the stalk was thick and green/white and smelled like fresh root pretty much. But im having deficiencies which are no doubt ph lockout. TDS has been stable though.

The buds are doing well but the leaves are taking a beating and I know those are a little important to have for growing buds.

Yea, a lot of guys in the hydro boards run pondzyme as benes.

It's been 24 hours and the ph problem is gone. I just had acid water/debris soaked into the rootballs.

In soil or soilless it does benefit. I already mentioned that I am not a hydro grower and I have seen a few guys on here who grow in hydro having slime problems using hygrozyme and once they stopped using it, the slime stopped. I am not sure with pondzyme. Could always stop using it and see if the results changed or not.
 
Hey Homebrewer.. iIhave been using only grow for the first 3 weeks of flower with DG in foxfarm soil. The leaves are showing signs of a bit too much nitrogen and its time to switch to bloom i think. this is my first grow and they're looking pretty healthy. Would you recommend starting off somewhat slow with the bloom? I been giving them a 1/2 gallon each with 2.5ml per gallon of grow and feeding every other day with a feed.. feed.. water schedule. I'm curious to hear your opinion, I been getting help by a buddy of mine whom has been growing in hydro and soil for a couple years now and he has been using DG also. I also have protekt..Would the sweet carbo berry i have be beneficial at all if i were to start using this?

Got any pics? Doing anything wrong, like watering too much or not enough, or feeding too much or not enough, can make your plant look like sh*t. We tend to think 'it's the plant food' when in reality it could be many things.

I would not use bloom at all. Is 1/2 gallon enough??? How big are your pots? How established and how big are your plants?

Would the sweet carbo berry i have be beneficial at all if i were to start using this?

Those kind of products are 'all downside', meaning you're more than likely to use them wrong and screw up a plant whereas using them correctly really has no benefit.
 
Ill have to upload some pics.. If I am doing something wrong, atm i wouldn't know what it is. There's 3 double bubble plants, 3 blackberry and 1 random i don't know what it is, but the 3 blackberry seem to be doing very well besides maybe too dark of a green color. The 3 double bubble plants have been curling at the tips and some of the the lower growth is droopy and curling (all curling downward) along with a darker green color coming in.

They're all in 5 gallon pots and i don't seem to be having an issue with this watering/feeding schedule when it comes to over/underwatering but i may be wrong. I have been trying to work with getting the temps a bit higher, but i think i just need a better heater until winter is over. avg 70 lights on, 57 avg lights off. My buddy who's been using DG for a while stopped over and said they could be bigger he thinks. That's possibly because i could've thrown them in veg for a bit when i got them instead of throwing them right into flower. They're 23 days into flower.

Really? Are you using meter when applying? My meter tell a different story.

All bets are off if your environment isn't dialed in which happens to be the case with your room. The first change you need to be making right now is getting your day and night time temps into a more desirable range (ie, high 70's during the day and low 70's at night).
 
Well i kept it at 75 for 12 straight hours after switching some ducting and the outtake around n well see where the temps were at when i turn them back on, but now that the basement is warmer than usual i shouldn't have anymore issues with temperatures.

Do you have any recommendations on desirable ppm with DG for flowering or any stage of growth?

The best ppm/EC is definitely correlated to your environmental conditions so as much as I'd love to give you some specific numbers, there's no guarantee they'll work for you. I'd suggest following the 'maintenance' directions on the bottle and tweak based on what works.
 
Sounds good. thats basically what I've been doing. I need to get pics up so you can see the plants that have the "claw" going on and curling of the lower leafs. It doesn;t seem like a lot of "claw" but it is there anyway.

When it comes to more nutes, there hasn't been like any burn whatsoever in the 23 or so days maybe a slight slight tip on a couple leaves, but little to none. Shall I slowly up them for now or keep it where it is? I started at 2ml/gal with grow and have only brought it up .5 per gallon

Oh have I got some stories for you.

This is hilarious. A friend of mine and I have taken it upon ourselves to switch from AN to other products. My friend is using Psycho, I decided on DynaGrow. There isn't a competition. I use the base nutrient, protekt and some Bloom sea minerals. Last grow with AN I had a laundry list of crap, all the time.
My plants are freaking amazing compared to before. Not so much in the vegetative phase, they were pretty equal. but in bloom there is no question. Dyna grow kicks the panties off Advanced Nutrients. I have colas the size of my forearm. before everything stopped growing after week 6.. Dynagrow is a wonderfully complete solution. And from what I am told the Psycho is the same story. I have no experience myself with it but I'm told way better than AN. I won't buy any more AN products.

Quit focusing on the food and get that environment stable. However your plants look at this moment is DIRECTLY related to poor temperature management. Give them a week or so to get going and report back if you'd like.
