Has anyone made a run from start to finish in hydro? How did it workout? What ppm? Any additives? I know Homebrewer uses it in veg and switches to a 50 50 mix of grow and bloom flower.

Foliage Pro might just be the BEST plant food on the market for container gardening BUT when it comes to hydro, I think FP supplies too much N. I've run it straight through before, twice now I think, and the higher amount of N tends to grow leafier, branchier plants. Consider its use for maybe the first week or two of flower to curb stretch, then consider switching to grow/bloom combos until harvest. In veg it's great as it grows structurally superior plants as compared to 'grow' but both are fine really.

Hey HB, is this the same for coco? I here ppl saying to treat coco as hydro. I got some plants growing right now in flowering with just grow but I do have a bottle of bloom just laying there. check out my journal. link is on my sig.

I have never tried just gro before....as I see it works great !
I like to use bloom and gro combo's in flower....I don't know what's in it but it turns everything I have purple !

im very tempted to add bloom to the mix since I have it, but im loving vegging w/ foliage pro and flowering with grow. maybe next run. u got any bud porn flowered w/ grow and bloom in coco?

Do you use Mag-pro and Pro-tekT with R/O water? The store I go to says cal-mag with every watering, but we were not talking about dyna-gro... I think the bottle says 1:1500... is that 2-300 ppm and is it used with every watering?

I use rain water. I was adding GH calmag @ 1ml per gal in coco. I cut it off and my plants seem to be doing fine without it. Thanks to some fine folks here in riu, I decided to start feeding bloom/grow at 50/50 for a week or so. Lets see how it goes.

It's the only picture I have of coco at the moment and at the time was my first coco run, no where near the caliber of your buds !
It was DNA rocklock great strain for sog
