Dying seedling, anybody know wtf?

Watered with 5.8 pH
Runoff is 6.0
Started in jiffy pellets but the runoff pH kept rising everyday to 7.2 so I took them out of the straight peat and planted them in promix. They are under a 300w Mars hydro LED that was about 24" above but I thought it mightve been scorching them somehow so I raised it to 36". Ive never had any issues like this before and have been growing for about 10 years now. Kinda stumped. Oh the fans in the LED shit themselves so I have a 10" oscillating fan blowing through the lights vent holes to keep it cool. The light is barely warm to the touch. I was thinking maybe too much air circulating causing the seedlings to over transpire maybe? I dunno. Anyway here are a couple pics. Gorilla Glue Autos, well they were at least.IMG_20170401_212249.jpg IMG_20170401_212227.jpg IMG_20170401_212206.jpg

Im having the same thought as you Samson. Not over watered, I use a spray bottle while they r seedlings. I do have a theory and need an electrician or someone with more electrical ie: currents, amps, watts, experience than I do. Like I said, the fans in my light panel quit working and I'm using a oscillating fan to cool it, seems to be working fine. Being the panel has a driver with X amount of wattage for all of the bulbs and fans, would it be possible that the bulbs are getting more wattage now that the fans arent sucking any of the wattage causing them to run at a higher PAR value thus scorching the seedlings? Every time ive sprouted before ive ran the light panel between 24"-36" and never once had a problem. 3 more seedlings just kicked the bucket and I checked the runoff and the pH was 6.2 and 327 ppm, my tap is 250ppm out the spigot. Any thoughts?

Have you grown seedlings under that light before?

Maybe something in the water? Try some RO water perhaps.
