Dying leaves - brown spots - diagnosis please?

Left my plants in my roommates care for a week and came back to them looking like this. He said he ph'd the water but I'm not confident he did it right. He also didn't let the chlorine evaporate.

Grow details:
2 weeks into flower
3 gal promix hp
running Go Organics fertilizer at 1/2 strength. Only did one recent round of fertilization. The plants where burned early on.
lights are DIY Cree cxa 3070 LED cobs. 200W.

Any help? :tiphat:

I'd be surprised to find the ph level could have been that far off to get that kind of reaction. It wasn't the chlorine either. My guess - he gave it too much fertilizer...
I'm not an expert by any means... So lets see what others offer.

I don't think it's over fert but I might be wrong. When I over fertelized before, the tips/edges of the leaves went brown. This time it seems to start in the middle with little spots. They also hadn't been fertilized in weeks and the promix hp was definitely running out of nutrients. It was time for a fertilizer run and I only did 1/2 strength. My roommate did not handle any of the ferts so he didn't mess that up.

Any other thoughts anybody?
