Dwc

hi guys i have just moved onto dwc i have done coco be4 and i am just wondering how often to use change ur dwc res i have heard different aswers some say not 2 till the final flush others say once a week or once every 2 weeks could som1 who has done dwc could please hellp me out

I have a really good ppm meter and I've never had any slime problems with my roots, so I'm flexible. During veg I change the res every 2 weeks. And that works for the first two weeks of flowering. But then the plants get too big and intertwined in my tent for me to do it easily. So then I just let it go the last six weeks.

Generally 5-7 days for me till they get to the point of drinking a gallon a day. Then it's about every 4 days. I have had slime problems, water temp issues so I switch more than others might.

I just use Dyna Gro, The Grow for veg and later the Bloom for flower. I use 1-2 teaspoons per gallon, a standard bottle can last a long time and is pretty affordable.

I change my water every 7-10 days.. I top up with Ph'ed water bestween changes..

My water temp never rises over 21c... It did once and caused root rot.. Dont sure how hot the water was at that one time but i have a rule of not getting over 24c

ahh cool thanks for wikked replys i will start changing once every 10 days as they are starting to get a little big gunna be hard to lift them out lol i am haven heat problems tho in the dwc up 26c water temp but it hasent seemed to afected them at all still very nice white roots and awsome growth so i think i wont play with it atm was mabye thinking about adding a top drip line any thoughts on that would be wikked
