DWC Under Current Question

I am in the first week of flowering now. I am running a 8 bucket 13 gallon site. Me and my friends have noticed that day by day the water in the buckets gradually go down a bit, about a gallon or so a day (out of 117 gallons). Right now the roots look amazing, the plants look even better. My question is, are the roots/plants eating up all this water? Should I add more water to the level I feel neccessary whenever I notice a slight drop? Thanks.

Ok. I just read that whole thing, and all it said about the water level is where it should be at. I know where the water level is SUPPOSED to be (under the net pot). My question was not where it should be, but if I should keep adding water in the buckets because the water either keeps evaporating or the plants keep taking it in. I looked all over this forum to see if anyone has talked about their DWC buckets losing water every day or so and I've found nothing. I appreciate the help, but my question was never really answered in that thread. Thanks though.

on my thread it has the answer your looking for, but to save you time, yes you need to top them of daily to the level were you want them.
In the flower stage they drink more so expect less water every day from on.
What

The answer is yes bud like already stated.
Reason being u will need to keep ur water topped off for the simple reason that if not ur ph will fluctuate.
More water uptake the lower ur ph will fall.
Just topoff daily. Check ur ph and make ur corrections from there.
Hope this helps I did have a chuckle as that thread is a really good idea but its been tried many times peeps r always gonna have grow specific questions ya just can't really put in a write up.
That should set u up rite if u need anymore help holler.
Peace.

One more quick question in regards to this thread. Now that I know you have to put the water thats been lost back in every day or 2, what about the ppms? As soon as I go to fill it back up to where the water should be the ppms will drop. I hear/see a lot of people saying "you don't want to pour nutes directly into the epicenter of your DWC Under Current". Tell me what you guys think because it really would be a real pain in the ass to put the nutes into every bucket individually. We alter the PH by putting PH down directly into the epicenter, so I wouldn't see why we shouldn't be able to do the same with the nutes. Maybe it IS a myth? Thanks!
