(DWC) Something is really wrong here.

Hi everyone, I have a 5-6 successful grows under my belt so far, but have now thrown myself into too deep water(pun intended) one must say. I started an autoflower hydroponic (DWC) grow 2 weeks ago and it goes a bit sluggish to say the least and to be completely honest: saint:; (; (I have neither grown autoflowers nor with hydroponics before :(

I myself think it looks like a like nutrient burn but have now tried to halve the suggested dose (from the retailer) of nutrients and it only seems to get worse. I have changed water resovior 5 times in the last week and it just does not help. Even with a resovior without nutrients, with clean tap water.

So I'm really desperate for your input if this grow needs to be saved. (They look better in normal light, under the growing light it looks like plants that can die at any moment)

Too much / too little light?

Too much / too little nutrients?

Too low / high temp / rh?

Are they getting too winded ?

Temperature:

Light time: 23-24 degrees celcius

Dark time: 16-18 degrees celcius

RH

Light time: 45%

Dark time: 65% dh

Distance to light panel: approx. 72cm

Nutrients:

Plagron 100% Hydro 2parts A + B

Each resovior is about 13-14 liters of tap water with 10ml each a A and B

According to plagron's growth schedule, they should have 1ml per liter from week 1 onwards.

Ph:

5.75

PPM

tap water: 380

resoviors: 480-550 (after nutrients and pH adjustment)

Light:

1000w Full Spectrum Led (pulls 300 from wall)

How far is water below net pot?

Is your total ppm including water 380ppm?

Any enzyme cleaner like hydroguard or z7?

How often you changing the water?

Good bubbles in the water?

Roots lookike they are not getting fed

The water is about 5cm below the netpots, but everything under the lid is soaked due to the splashing of the bubbles

My water from my tap reads 380ppm when i fill a bucket with 13 liters and after adding 10ml of A+B hydro(they recommend 1ml per liter) nutrients and adjusting the PH down to 5.75 the ppm is about 550.

about enzymes, I am not sure if it counts, but my local growshop suggested to use some peroxide, i tried on some of the plants, but it didnt seem to make any diffrence.

Due to trying to troubleshoot if have been changing the water every 2-3 days, trying diffrent combinations of light/nutes/wind, to see if anything would help.

There is ALOT of bubbles in the water, can you over bubble them ?

Your tap water is 380? Start by looking there.

Someone else actually pointed this out to me, and i checked a local area map of water hardness(never heard of it), and i am actually in a tiny area where we have this "hardest" water in the whole country, over 30 DH, sorry if DH is not an international known unit of measure.

Can this be linked ? And if so, what could i do about it ? What would it mean that my tap water is 380 ? Does it mean it already contain enough nutes ?

Go buy some water at grocery store where you fill the culligan bottles, usually it's reverse osmosis water. Make sure to test the PPM to make sure.
The 380 ppm tap water may have some nutrients but not in the balance your plants need hence the burned leaves.

Do u get goopies on the side of your buckets, or on the air stone
380ppm hard water is gunna be a challenge, but if you see no buildup, then go for it

My water is 500-600ppm, I literally see fish and rocks in my water...lol
I have to use RO water in dwc or my rezz for when I go camping for weeks

What I read is that Ironhead is based off of lucas formula
I dunno about ironhead, but I've used Lucas and jacks full strength, full cycle. No problems, but I'm only growing 1 strain that may be tolerant. I'm trying some other strains but still they're still just sprouts right now.

I've run GH flora trio and Mega Crop full strength on many strains with no issues cept my Golden Tiger which is a bitch with nutes..can't get her happy

I'm gunna try to find more info on the ironhead method to learn more about it
