DWC reservoir changes . . . How do you do them?

During veg when the plants are small I remove the net pots and place them in 6 extra 5 gal buckets I have. I then use a shop vac to remove the water from all 7 buckets.

During flower the plants/root balls are too big to move so I just suck all the water from the reservoir with the shop vac. It takes a bit longer but works fine.

How do you do res changes?

I run in 5 gallon buckets, so I just fill a spare bucket, mix nutes, and lift the lid off the pot, put it back on to the new bucket. I've done this with root balls as large as the inside of the bucket, airstones usually buried within the mass of roots...lol

I'm starting to plan a DWC system using 5 5gallon buckets...4 for plants...1 for testing and mixing nutes...all connected with tubing...so when I need to do a complete change I can just empty out the "tank" bucket and the rest will drop as well since I'll have the 4 plant pots sitting about an inch above the level of the "tank" bucket :D
