Hey all, I have grown in DWC a couple times and this time I took some advice from a friend and did things a little differently. He said to use the hydroton in the tub, usually I just use the clay rocks in my little net cups holding the plants in place, but I took his advice since he is going to school to grow and I figured he knew what he was talking about. He said the roots will grow through the hydroton and it will be better overall for the plant. Never did this before and everything turned out fine. Anyway, I have noticed in a ton of pix that no one does this and was just getting an opinion from some who have more experience. Thanks!! =)
