Aright I'm just about to start my grow got seeds hole system is setup completely
i just need some things cleared up before i start


2: how high should i have my 400 hps off the rockwool when the seeds have just been put in and how far above the plant should it stay

3: i have CANNA veg A and veg B nutes so would i start using them right away or wait till the seeds have sprouted

4: what ppm should i try keep the water at through out the grow

Why are you using a HPS for your seedlings??? Should be using a Metal Halide bulb or some sort of florescent light.

flouros are best for seedling and clones but if hps is all ya got if feel ya.
as for #3 dont feed any nutes until they grow a couple sets of true weed leaves. Just plain PH'd water til then.
#4 when it's time for nutes, start out 1/4 strength what they call for. I think they shoot for 300 for seedlings.

yeah like the wizzle said once you see the 4th leaf add 1/4 strength nutes. I go 250 PPM - 300 PPM seedling stage

One more thing would be great to clear up

The system i have built has five 20L buckets four of witch are inside the grow room the other one is outside it's basically the reservoir sense its a recirculating dwc setup any who when it comes time to add the nutes do i just add them into the res or every bucket ?

You could add just to res and it will recirculate to other buckets.

cheers for that so if it says 2-3ml per L would i just add enough for 20L or for the total volume of water in the hole system

Go for a lil under your whole volume of water. If they like it you can start bumpin it up slowly.
