DWC issues

It's like a glass of lemonade. Too much lemon mix and your face tries to implode, too little and you don't even want to drink it.

While that's cute and all.... there are some really good vids on youtube about nutrients, balance, theory and dwc, doesn't need to be for just weed.

Just wanted to say thank you again for the tips and direction to look.

Definitely mending , while the ph was dropping they were eating all they could.

She has much better colour to her now.

By yesterday’s calculation .15 ec was used and now today it has level off with the ph only dropping a couple points with ec stable.
Maybe should have just brought back to 1.15 but did go to 1.25 but will hold steady and monitor .
Will be an easy water down to get back if need be.

Idk, I don't know so much about this stuff. It's just the nutrient places recommend ec levels for dialed in rooms with dialed in plants, most of us aren't there.

Hey smokey0418, yeah it should be a monster at 90 days check out my post of my 40 day veg "ooops" plant. I am a dwc rookie as well and had similar issues. one thing you didn't mention is how big is the reservoir? I use gh 3 part flora series, I found through a lot of trial and error a ppm around 650 which I think equals ec 1.3 kept the ph as stable as possible but it still drifted .2/.3 or so a day in 5 gallon buckets. switched it up to 2 plants in a 27 gallon tote and now I can go a week without doing a thing :}

And now for the real reason I am responding lol. I want to pick your brain a bit about the 90 plant SOG. I want to try that in these 27 gallon totes instead of 2 large pain in the butt plants. from your description you had 4 plants per square foot and yield was 10g-20g per plant. did you go from seed or clones, veg time, single cola vs any plant training? I am planning on using clones, topping once (for the next round of clones) and then flowering but have no clue what the yield might be on small plants. the totes are about 3 sq/ft so I could theoretically fit 12 plants per but was leaning towards 6 with 2 or perhaps 4 mains.

My totes hold 6 gal at this time.
Came across something very interesting last evening and I do have a much better looking plant , still missing the explosive growth . One more week, well I have been saying that all along then another bump comes, but hoping this will be the one. When the math is done it’s looking like the answer.


Ok know back to this SOG I bragged about, I ran 2 flow tables , 4x4, 4x3 in a cellar.
90 clones in 4inch rockwool , flood and drain.
Sheet the table, cut holes, plop them in and clear cup them up so they don’t wilt .
Few days of that, cups off, veg till I think there growing a bit, 1 week maybe, the 60 days of 12/12 and do it all over again.
I used green air products, genesis 2 part formula and city water .
I would eye ball an 1 inch of ph down in my tote and presoak, my cubes while I removed the goods one day, and filled the next.
For many years I just ran 1 , 1000 mh, or hps with a track moving corner to corner.
Then years later I came up with this bright , what about 2 stationary lights.
Well wouldn’t you know your count goes from just over 2 to 4 just like that getting 20 g of dry flower off a 24-30 inch tall plant.
