I said Goooooooooddddd Daaaaaaaaammmmnnn! If I hadnt been following your grow Id assume you cut and pasted pics from high times.

Quick question to Fox Farmers - I was told by the guy at Fox Farms that H2o2 will kill the active stuff in the Big Bloom. Instead of using h2o2 in our dwc buckets with the FF package we should use a product called Plant Success - Soluable, or even better - Great White. Both are active bacteria based tank sanitation I guess. My question is, does anyone else use this, and or is it worth the extra $ to upgrade to the Great White?

P.S. He Also told me when rooting clones use 1/4 tsp/gallon tiger bloom and 1 tsp/gal h2o2. Havent tried it yet but just passin on the good word.

Peace

What's up clubbers .

Here are my two babies.

Also, I can't seem to figure out why my bigger plant keeps showing signs of heat stress.

I have my light about 3 feet from the top of my plants, and I have a fan blowing over them, but they are still showing heat stress.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening.

Atrum that looks like more of a ph issue from here but cant really tell from the pix.
A good indication of heat stress would be the leaves curling under them selves like an upside down canoe.. Im deffinetely not seeing that in the pix.
Where has ur PH been and how about the PPM?

The ph I keep steady at 5.4 - 5.7
The ppm I can't test yet. Kinda broke and ppm meters are $$$ so I just follow the directions on the nutes.

I will try to get a close up of some of the leaves. The new growth is always green and healthy, but after a few days, they start to show the same symptoms.

The information he gave you is correct. Peroxide should not be used with Fox Farm as they are organic nutes. I use hygrozyme with the FF nutes and this appears to work quite well. Haven't really heard of the other products you mentioned yet so I cannot comment on those.

Atrum..U may be running ur Ph a little on the low side for what ur particular strain likes.. Id slowly bring it up a point per day and see how she looks after a week around 5.8 - 6.0
If ur following the FEED directions on ur bottles.. Try ph'ing to 6.0.. It may jump back up after the intial res change as any new system begins establishing the perfect PH balance for itself.
Roll at 6.0 for now. Id do a half change bro. With some fresh water watch how it does.

Butter's Ive been using Hydrogen peroxide in my DWC forever. Matter of fact it helps stabilize my Ph..It helps my clones grow roots faster as well my seedlings..
I use it like suggested about 2-3 ML/ gallon.
Im sure u also Know I use Organics.. So id say as long a person uses it properly and doesnt abuse it.. Then im proof that it does actually improve the results for organics too. Everything in moderation i guess.

Closet.. Looking Killer bro.

Thanks DL. I will give that a try. It seems like my nute solution likes to be more base than acid. My tap water is 8.0, I ph to 5.5 and by the end of the day usually climbs to about 6.0 any way.

Sometimes I wish I had more room, other wise I might be able to keep more than a few gallons of Distilled water around at a time.

Yea Atrum i remember u where growing ur previous plants without a PH meter...
I figure as long as u truly where following the directions on the bottles.. It may have taken longer for ur res to find its happy medium. But u had some nice healthy girls before the bugs. And i believe they did find the perfect PH balance for that particular strain.
So the best advice i could give and im no pro man and hate giving advice cause there is usually someone that wants to argue without ever even trying it or any actual knowledge of DWC growing in general that..
If ur Res Is continuously trying to get back to 6.0.. Let it. This may be where they like to be bro..
I shoot for 5.8 cause the pro's say that @ 5.8 PH ur plants are more readily able to use the nutrients u are feeding them and its never done me wrong..
A little more advice i could give i guess...
When u do ur res changes.. Leave a little of the old res water in it as well..
It will help ur plants re-establish that perfect PH balance with little or no stress.
PPM is also just a basic guideline...
PPM or nutrient needs is also strain dependant..
So just keep doing what ur doing or exactly what u did last time.

Ur plants will tell u what they need bro.
Hope this helps man.
Peace.
