DWC day 16 AG day 23 both from seed

18 Gallon DWC

6 planters (about 5'') they are the 4 cup glade tupperware things, that I slit the sides and put holes in for the roots to grow through.

Im using (2) 18'' bubble curtains

AND


(4) 10'' air stones

I will be using a 1000watt MH to veg

will there be a problem when I flower with my 400watt HPS? wondering if the drop in watts would stunt growth or what not....thanks again guys and tell me what you think of the DWC...I wont actually start it up until my 4 ladies are done flowering.

then I have to pic a strain....it will be (6) of either White Widow, White Rhino or ICE....:weed::joint:

any reccomendations??

u should start with the lowest wattage for the first month n then turn it up a notch. when ur plants are small and vegging they dont need as much light as they would for flowering. this is cuz there shorter in height so the lumens produced by the four hundred watter will be more then enough for the first 12 to 16 inches.

so you think I should start with the hps then at 12 inches switch to the mh? then what? back to the hps to flower??? I know my wattages arent ideal but I got the 1000 mh for free so I am trying to put it to use

here is my plan...starting with the MH at 36-40 inches away from the top of the tub...then as the plant grows it will grow into the stronger lumens...then when it gets about 16 inches form the bulb I will switch to my 400 hps...starting 20 inches from the top and lowering it 1 inch each day until it reaches the optimum lumens...(thanks to the caligrower chart)

by doing it this way I am still increasing the lumens with the hps because its closer to the plant.
