DWC Container color/ Light penetration?

I have a simple question, most people say to wrap you container in black tape or foil,
What if I purchase an already black tote container, would light penetrate that? Just making sure so I don't mess up. Thanks.

You'll have to judge yourself as all containers are different. I've had some I can hold up to the light and see through despite being black. In any case, you can just cover them with paper or foil, or inoculate with beneficials and forget about light proofing.
