dwc-400mh-1st grow

ok rollitup i have been reading and waching for a while and decided to go at it.smoke alot never grown a bud..went with dwc 10gal tubs with 7gal of water 1 10-20gal air stone for each tub,using gh nuts ,bag seed,8 cfl's and a 400watt mh light so here we go..
right now i am 4 weeks in already germed and trans planted, i started in peat pots then the diy cloner to the dwc tubs. first 4 weeks i used the cfl's and mild nuts then went to 400mh with full strength nuts the plants are 8in tall today. i will post picks in order to get every one caught up..
any suggestions comments or criticism is apprectiated to a exstent..lol

A pound per plant indoor :lol: with one 400w :lol: and some cfl's :lol:

thay have grown an inch today in about 24 hours, some even more.. heres a pic. i also rotate the lids every day.. i see a ploblem coming its when to flower and how to get the males out when i do due to root bound the plants can only be 36in at max and that will leave me 16in between the light and plants any thoughts? 9/17

9/18.... temps are staying about 80-90 degres during light and 70-80 at dark.. humidity has been at 50% to 60% the whole grow and they have gotten an inch taller today at 10in........

9/22 started 12/12 on the 21st the plants was about 12in and 5 weeks veged, upped nuts to veg and bloom cycle, still changing water once a week adding just water when low and took 2 clones from the bottom of each plant...hope they live, after they show sex i will kill the males and spred out the fems ..heres a pic :peace:

ok here at the begeinning at week 2 in flowering week 5 of plant life really crouded and hopen to sex soon to thin out ,still going with veg n bloom mix this week on the gh nuts ,plants are 21in tall..........probly last post due to lack of interest..any way heres a pic...........................................

Bamboo stakes, waxed dental floss, twine, twist ties... Not unusual to need to tie them up when they get heavy w/ buds. & please don't stop posting & keep the pics coming :)

probly go with dental floss and twine ,i dont have buds yet ,almost can tell sex maybe another week, they were pretty stout but when they started stretching they became limber and the cups i used to hold the clay pebbles r to small and tend to lean when the weight of the plants shift when this batch is over ill have to fix that,
also i lost 2 plants in an "the sky is falling " accident lol some materials on the shelf shifted mysteriously after the ol lady was fooling around in there and 2 of them were severely injured and had to be put down......they probly was fems my luck lol...also the clones i took r coming along ....nervous about it but seems to be working heres a pic...

Sorry i didn't pay close attention the the dates on posts & such or I should have know they weren't being waited down by buds. I'm guessing if they are in cups & the weight of the plant is tipping them over then your containers may be too small which could easily be why they are not more stout. Also during veg it's good to put an oscilating fan on them to blow them around, that will give them just enough stress to encourage stronger stems so they can stand up to the added wait in flowering.

made some changes today maybe good maybe bad ....i trimed the lower 3rd and some of the small shoots to thin out the grow and put a tie about half way up to gather all the flopy shoots with hopes to save them i am going to tie them out to fill the holes shortly .....i also hope i didnt couse to much trauma to the plants cutting them in flower ..i ended up with 7 fems and cut 1 for lack of space..i must say i will have to do better the second time....heres a pic

well not ther yet but almost didnt turn out the way i wanted but i have some seeds coming in of indica strain from nirvana and will be changing alot of the grow setup also will be rethinking nuts for a little more punch well heres a pic. week 9 flower

im ready to flush this grow and cut um down to reset for the new , will be making lots of changes, ordered kool bloom,flouricous plus and flora blend for my aurora grow and change the op .....probly make alot of oil from these not seeing a lot wort making into smoke but i have learned alot so im happy,heres some pics at my first attempt....

cut n hung today heres what i got.. i got tired of triming so just hung the bottem ones up maybe ill trim them later maybe not probly make oil outa those any way
