dwc 12 plants, what airpump?

I'm pretty sure that's good, too. I think a lot of people say you need 1 watt per gallon (but don't take my word for it), and this will be more like 3 or so assuming you run about 3.5 gallons per bucket.

Personally, I switched over to a powerhead pump in my res and ditched air stones all together. 1/2 the price up front, and 1/10th the power consumption.. not to mention way simpler. I don't do undercurrent, but I doubt it matters since rdwc and undercurrent both never have standing, still water. It will add some heat to your solution though if you go the powerhead route, but if you use a chiller then no worries.

The only reason i am doing an undercurrent is because I feel like it is less maintenance for 12 plants.
