I just bought this stuff recommended by my local hydro shop. He said it would help root development in the seedling stage what do you guys think?
Roots Organics Oregonism XL

I use fox farm big bloom on my seedlings and they do fine in themAll of the seeds germinated succesfully, are planted in foam cups and are fed with 6.4 water.
One seedling has already poked its tiny little cotyldons through the surface.
Question: I have B'cuzz foliar 1.0-0-0 all organic and loaded with micronutrients. Is it ok to reduce the dose by 1/3 and feed my seedlings? I also have a foliar boost product by b'cuzz that your supposed to mix with with the 1.0-0-0 foliar as well. But Ive also heard of using fox arm big bloom on seedlings. Anyone have any info would be nice.
yeah I guess if ya have noone to tell ya what the strain is like and you are expecting something mostly indica, like I was, it can take time to find the best way to grow it for yield. I have never had a prob with quality or potency(as long as ya let it hit day 60 min) But the sativa traits I didn't expect threw me off.Te plant stretches like no other the first 21 days of bud growing over a foot. It NEEDS to be supercropped and shaped carefully to get a nice indica looking bush with lots of big colas. I have the last couple grows all logged in my journal if ya wanna peak. Ya can see the difference in how I vegged them. My first run gave me like a zip per plant this time I'm headed for a qp per plant.so would u say for the inexpirenced grtower that this strain needs lots of attention to get the best out of it?
How do you go from an oz per plant to a qp? I grew 1 skunk #1 under my hps with 4 other leggy plants and yielded over 3 oz. and I had estimated around 1 & 1/2. Im not sure how to supercrop besides that it involves pinching and bending oer. like I mentioned I'll be using bushmaster to control the height and hopefully I get some positive results. Ive seen grows with and without bushmaster and the results are phenominal. The plants treated with the bushmaster looked nothing like the buds that didnt use it. the bushmaster buds were very wide and stout. And Ive also heard reports that it reduces flowering period .yeah I guess if ya have noone to tell ya what the strain is like and you are expecting something mostly indica, like I was, it can take time to find the best way to grow it for yield. How?? By becoming a better grower of coarse. With time you learn things that improve your grow. There is no way to know everything about growing before ya start since every grow room is designed different. I'll tell ya something though, I have doubled my yields with every harvest AND cut the # of plants down every time, plus grew shorter plants. The orange buds sativa characteristics come flying out in 12-12. I didnt see that coming my first grow with it and they got to be over 5ft by harvest. A HPS light can't even come remotely close to penetrating that far 1.5' of strong light is it, anything below that will grow popcorn crappy nugs. So I went from 16 plants in 2 gallon containers to 12 plants in 3 gallon containers for my second run. I also put the plants into bud at about 2ft this time and managed to double my yield per plant from about 1-1.5 to 2-3 ounces. The run I am on now is the culmination of everything I learned from the first 2 grows, plus I am using way better nutes, full 800 watts of HPS lighting instead of 400MH/400HPS and the plants were supercropped to keep them at 1ft. I compare all my pics per week from all my grows and it is easy to see that the plants are doing way better from my first to last. If the pattern I have been watching continues as it has and is looking so far I should easily hit 3-4 ounces per plant. Remember people rarely get the max yield fro there plants since it costs tons of money and the best products on the market to make a perfect grow as the seed companies do. Orange bud says it can yield 400 grams per square meter, which means I should be able to get 2 pounds outta my room if done perfectly. So that is what I am shooting for, to max out this strain. Outdoors OB can yield a pound per plant, just because you have a particular strain it doesn't mean that you will yield what the seed companies get. Plus I am damn sure I left out tons of techniques and shit I have learned in the years that I just keep applying to my grows as I go.How do you go from an oz per plant to a qp?
