I can't decide what beans I want to pop... I'm about ready the flip the lights in my tent so i need something coming up behind them.. that's my problem is I never start that process till 2 months after I harvest! I've this wild bug up my butt to move to new zealand for a while... and need to build up some capital before I can make that happen.

I been to new zealand it's a nice place... someplace i'd definitely consider if I were going to make another place a home away from the US. Weed isn't legal there yet as far as I know though (did it change and I didn't hear about it?) Saving up to move to one of the west coast states... haven't decided for sure which.

I've been to oz as well; lived there for 4 months while studying and working for a company called ACDC, no joke! Aus is awesome and I would move there, too. I have a friend from junior high that recently moved to New Zealand and se absolutely loves it. The last 6 months have just been balls to wall crazy and stressful at work and both oz and nz are known for a great work/life balance and that is soooooo appealing right now. During the week I'm usually do exhausted after work that I get home and just slump into my armchair and zone out... Too tired to smoke or check the girls or play with MY girl and then weekends you only have 2 days to cram a weeks worth of relaxing into so ya.... I've seen my dad live to work and I don't want to do that. I don't care about money, just need enough for food shelter and the occasional awesome trip here or there. They do pay me decent and I get great benefits so it would be hard to walk away from but both me an the girlfriend are like: if one of us had a job down there, we'd move tomorrow. And I'm crazy enough to do just that. The northwest has also been mentioned; Seattle or Portland or Eugene or hell I'd move to NorCal too. I dunno... I kinda don't like the political culture in America right now either, though, so abroad is very appealing.

I dunno. I love Colorado don't get me wrong but the wanderlust is calling to me. And to quote mark twain: in 20 years you'll regret the things you didn't do way more than the things you did, so shove off from safe harbors!

That's why I spent a while living in the philippines... after last divorce I figured it might be my last chance to do something crazy like go live in another country. I might not mind living in new zealand but I love growing too much and it seems like a bad idea to grow in a place you're not even a citizen unless they're cool with that -- i'm not sure where that is the case... maybe spain :) i'm trying to decide between seattle and socal (got a friend there)

Things are happening again! Swapping bulbs and a ballast and switching the lights tonight.



I think they are moooooore than ready ;)

Great success! Took the glass off the sealed hood and GODDAMN was it filthy.. like.. 1/16" tick later of dust. Cleaned that, swapped the bulbs and swapped the Apollo ballast out for the Lumatek... Awwww yea. Its looking great in there and BRIIIIGHT!





So excited for the flowering... probably will start a new thread tomorrow or whatever... not that anyone looksat this one anyway! Heh.

I gots some questions. What strains you running Ron? And what you doing with the old bulb/ballast? 6 plants right? How big is the screen again? And what is that bag of shit you have sitting on the right side the screen?

Last night was my girls' first 12 hour night. 12/12 has begun in my closet too. :) So are we like the Three Musketeers. Hahaha... more like the Three Amigos. I think mine are going to flower a long time, 12 weeks or so. You guys will probably be smoking before me, but it's cool. I can't wait to have some sativa smoke for once. Been running indicas since I started growing 4 years ago. Nice having 7-8 week finishers, but damned if everything doesn't just put me to sleep.

Pretty awesome that we're starting flowering at the same time I need to make it a point to check in on your thread more often... theres always so much goin on over there it takes me searching through like 5 pages just see some pics! ;)

I still need to write you about new zealand... the dream is not dead ;) I was just in Denver all week meeting, well we were supposed to meet, with the Governor but he cancelled.... crazy. I was gonna high five him. I'm a big high fiver :)

I just realized it's St. Patty's day and I've been up for like an hour and haven't had a beer. In fact I think we're out of beer. Unacceptable. I have to build another little cabinet today to house the mess of cords and timers and powerstrips etc.. that have been making the OCD part of me crazy since I got the setup going in the garage... Funny to me that I will spend $150 on materials to "tidy up" part of the grow that has no actual affect on the quality or quantity of the buds I'm growing. It's like my dad's an Engineer or something ;):-P

LOL I spent St. Patties day redoing a lot of stuff in my grow room to prepare for flower... before/after video saving now gonna be uploading to youtube momentarily should be up in about half an hour-ish. Loving the way it turned out too came out pretty much just like I had hoped.

Jig check out the new thread! Lets see stuff I didn't mention over there that you asked about: strains are in the thread, old light probably sell to a buddy and maybe buy another LED for my little cab, yes 6 plants. Screen is 4" x 4" I would guess... Not sure if smaller would be better but it seems to be working well. Bag of shit is an exhale co2 bag. I have a bunch in there. It's a fungus in a bag and as it does its thing it is supposed to release co2. I want to try it because for some reason tanks are un appealing to me.

stoked for your sativas!! How's everything over in jig world?

Thing are good. I'm excited to be flowering finally. Can't wait to smoke on some new stuff.

Tomorrow we should find out the sex of our baby! Should be exciting.

For real. Man all the pothead growers are having babies... what's up with that? :) Pretty cool to all be flowering on synced up cycles like women on their periods.
