Durban Posion's colour is really weird. Need advice

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting on this forum. I have grown a few plants over the years. Mostly with CFL's. With some good success. One particular Super Silver Haze was a thing of beauty :)

This is the first time I finally have a proper grow tent and full setup :)

I am currently growing 3 different strains. The other 2 seems to be doing perfectly fine. However Durban Poison has a weird 2 tone colour to the leaves. I just moved them into 3 gallon pots last week with Dark Matter soil. Durban Poison had these weird colours before the transplant. I was hoping the new soil might help solve any deficiencies. So far it looks to be doing around the same. Other than the colour the plant is doing well and growing at the same rate as the other 2 plants. PH in the water I'm using is around 5 to 6. If there is some sort of deficiency I have no idea what it could be. It does look kind of awesome though. IMO. lol

I did have it too close to the fan at one point. This has been corrected.

Let me know what you folks think?

Funny, but in second picture can see what looks like lower good leaf peeping out at bottom. Wonder whats causing it? Hopefully it grows out.
Used to know of a link with nutrient def/excess page with pictures somewhere.

Your plants have severe moisture trauma, most of this will be from the fan you had on it not deficiency and will solve itself in the right conditions in time.

If it is “ soil “ ....... your “ ph about 5 to 6 “ is adding to issue. At least 6.5 would be good for soil.

I was thinking iron deficiency but not sure. However I would ( my opinion) rope in that ph and stabilize at 6.5 to have all elements available. Give a good balanced feed and hope for the best.

Thanks for the replies! I really appreciate it.

I think the fan being too close and moisture trauma is a big part of the problem. It's the only variable that is different than the other 2 plants. The fan has been moved already ahead of this post so hopefully it can improve.

I can try watering with water that has a PH around 7 on the next watering. My tap water is ph 7 and my RO water is around 5-6.
Might help balance things a bit.
