Durban Poison on the West Coast?

Anyone know how DP does on the West Coast around 48-51nl? I know a lot of people use DP x with mighty mite or Timewarp -- does pure DP not finish well?

Thx in advance,

Durban poison origins are South Africa ( my home country) it is really durable and grows like a tree. I love DP and know a few ppl in RSA who grow indoor and out. DP can handle almost anything u can throw at them seriously very hardy plant. The effects are amazing as well

I have yet to grow it but I have heard that there are several growers running it on the West Coast and are happy with the yield. :)

Yield is good and outdoor yield is amazing, i remember farmers growing it between there corn crops :)

Ok, so to answer my own question a year later, DP was perfect for me at 50NL. TLO grow with fem DP seed stock. Started 3 inside April 14, moved outside mid-May, and all finished before Sept 20 (one was done Sept 8th) with long, sticky, fragrant flowers. Yielded 8-10 oz, which was plenty for my needs for the year. Some powdery mildew but it was easy to manage (removed leaves, no sprays). Effect is more "high" than "stoned", with long time lapses and "wormholes". I can see why this strain has such a good rep.

Peace,

Thanks for the post on this. I've been looking for a good "head high sativa" with an earlier finish to run next year in norcal, and just yesterday I was trying to find info on this strain.
