DUDE!! Week 10 CFL grow (PICS) ++DIG iT++

Week 10

CFL grow, chopped one girl a little over a week ago. Last lady standing strong.

Veg'd em for 8 weeks

-Used
FF ocean forest
3gal pots (only one transplant)

VEG: grow big, liquid seaweed, banana mana, Peruvian seabird guano (high nitrogen), hard water

FLOWER: grow big (for first 9days), Big bloom, Tiger, Jamaican bat guano (high phos), molasses, hard water

Granola bar for nugo size comparison, they are pretty phat and long buds.

Started flushing a week ago with molasses and hard water.

Trichs just turning cloudy, some clear still. No amber & still some white pistils, but looking pretty frosty everywhere.

I still dont understand by people use HPS. CFLs are pretty good, and save you alot of pain in heat and electricity bills.

OK so you guys asked for the set up here it is. I got to get razzled off a few gas masks and make a drawing of it. Basically its a 2x4x5' with four 2' ribs and a center 1-1/14' rib. This platform is suspended by two chains attached to hooks (two anchored on opposing sides in 2x4 & others in closet shelf/deck). This way it can be easily lowered and raised. Above we zip tie power strips to the bar (hanger bar). We then use single clamping fixtures after removing shield and clamp to hang in varying locations. We use a splitter and use two 26w soft 2700k for each. I placed a little yellow triangle to represent where they go. Please excuse the actual pics, I raised all the lights to get a decent pic so it looks like a jumble of chords but is usually zip tied together nicely. Each hanging fixture gets plugged into the power strip, wrapped around its location as many times needed to be at correct height. I like this because here we can have the lights at all levels of the plant and get as much light penetration as possible. We also have a small angled fan in the top left corner pushing air into the path of another box fan off the floor which relays the air to another box fan angled to project air up. We made a air flow cycle with a fan pushing air into closet and out as well as circulating. Sweet right. Some may say overdone, but to each their own and besides its a closet grow so I can only get so far. Also almost all my lighting was from previous grows and donated by fellow cflers. Free is always better than buying a HID system.......for now. I know this is a lot of cfls but we have them in great location for the plant. Its also nice to have room to place things like my digi therm (which is reading high because many doors are closed or slid over to take pics temps stay at 72-77 and humidity 19-24%), microscope (for trichage), and a PsP to play the kids music while awake. We also seperated the power for each power strip source to help not have a fire because it looks like a fire waiting to happen but has held true for the last six months. A few more weeks we de-construct and move out to the next homestead.

For a killer shotty closet set up that was macgyvered up real quick it has brought me great prosperity. 2.5 dry off the lady we just chopped, now curing you can find in my other posts, and this sweet sexy girl I dig it.

Me and my partner made ours one stoned afternoon...it seems like its going to take off...we have enough room for 3 mothers and like 10-15 clones and a like 3-5 small vegging plants. I dont plant to flower under cfl's...we have a 600w hps .

yes thats a great cfl grow there!! i use hps but use cfls for extra lighting.

I'm Hoping for a few lids out of my girl. Got 2.5 off the other and they are about the same density and size overall. Guess I will find out here in a week or two. Until then....stay Up!

As for the camera these were shot with a piece of donky shit that turns off every 3 sec. Kodak Easy share C633 with 6.1 megapixel. I used the "flower" up close setting. The pics did turn out ok, I enjoy how it captured the frosty mountain tops!

As far as fire wise, it was always known that we could have re-engineered it to be safer but it never got too hot or made us worry too much. Believe me we kept a watchful eye, and we gaze at the girls so much that Im sure we would have caught it, plus we have like 3-5 fans going depending if its light/dark so that helped.

I think we might have another week or two on the ramulan/sensi-star A lot of white pistils still, and according to the microsope the trichs are getting cloudier by the day, not really any amber yet, but soon.
