window unit pumps heat out the back because its supposed to be outside ur room lol through u window see how that would make sense... now a portable normally has a little ducting to blow the heat out somewhere

gonna have to get creative maybe build a box around it and attach ducting on the back with an inline fan to pull air through

Portables are about $200~ and have the ease of the exhaust ducting (What I use) A window unit you're going to have to build a box or go to home depot and get one of the rectangle to circle dryer vents and match the dimensions... Right now the a/c is doing you no good venting that hot air back into the same room

so lol since its in the closet of my house I simply did this, put the air conditioner at the end of the closet allowing all the hot air to blow into the room (outside the closet) then I duct the nice cool air into the tent, anyways lol now that heat is gone, hhaha whats a good temperature errrrr rather the minimum I should aim to keep the room? I hit 68 today, which im assuming is way too low..........what the absolute minimum for the room, the recommended temps, and absolute highest it should be? Thanks guys, lol if this makes no sense, well ya you all know why lol

Ideal temp around 80 degrees. try to keep it as close to that as possible. Also keep an eye on the relative humidity. Shoot for 50 to 60 percent in vegging, and under 40 % for flowering. Lots of debate on the figures, but most people will agree they are in the general ballpark.
