Ducting directly to outside, very rural area, would you still use carbon filter?

Looking for opinions if I should keep or remove my carbon filter given my situation. I purchased the IPower 6 inch 442 CFM fan & 6 inch carbon filter for use in a 4x4 grow tent 3 yrs ago

Not really sure how efficient the filter is after a few years of use.

My house is in the middle of 25 acres, farm land all around my property, which is why I have it venting directly outside. Any smell inside is basically limited to my grow room.

I suppose smell is not my biggest concern. My biggest concern is despite how tight I set the duct clamp to the fan, it has blown off a few times. Very concerning since I use 600w hps air-cooled reflector hood. I've cleaned / replaced the carbon filter cover a couple times. Not sure what else I can do to ensure the ducting stays connected to the fan?

Any advice or suggestions if I should keep, remove, or replace my carbon filter, as well as any tips on keeping the ducting connected to the 442 CFM fan is appreciated.

Duct tape

On the fan, then add the ducting, ruff surface so won't slip as easy, then clamp, then more duct tape

I like using the metal HVAC tape. But I also run sheet metal screws thru the filter flange into the fan. If your not worried about sound much you can just use hard duct and attach that with sheet metal screws as well. But I've never had duct blow loose using the metal tape either, just make sure you take an old credit card and smooth out the tape real well after applying, that helps it to stick better.

You should probably replace it.. sounds like the filter is clogged up and it’s creating pressure and that’s why it’s blowing off at the fan. Tbh I’d just take it off to allow better airflow. I doubt anyone will smell what you got going on unless you have people that come over. My thoughts

Since the filter is shot from a few years use either replace it or take it off. If you have enough airflow I would replace it, if you need the extra flow I would skip the filter.

Is it legal where you live? If not, buy a new filter. Ive been to prison 3 times. None of those times was especially fun.

You can use an inline ozone generator on an exhaust.
