Duct tape on Cooltube

Is it okay to use duct tape to secure the duct going from my fan to my cool tube? I tried without tape but under the pressure it kept slipping off. I am not sure if the tape will get hot and melt/slip off or possibly catch fire? I noticed that I can touch the cool tube right under the light on the glass and it not be hot at all so it seems it should be fine just want to make sure...

if in a hot environment, duct tape will delaminate from the sticky part in time. use 3m hvac tape. made for hot and cold temps and will not delaminate. I use duct tape on anything outside my grow tents. inside gets 3m hvac tape, and hose clamps if applicable.

you'll find the metal tape by the bathroom vent ducting hardware @ lowes or home depot...

Of course... you'll also find 4",6", and 8" duct clamps in the same spot, n thats better.... I keep having to adjust mine, Im getting several clamps this weekend....
