Dual Grow, Miracle Grow & CFL with AK48 and Power Skunk

Here is the AK48 a day shy of 8 weeks.....

Is she ready for her next step, AK48 growers chime in

ANother quick update, my AK48 happens to be my short plant (Megan, 26") and my tall plant the Power Skunk (50", Vivica). I will post pics of Vivica later, she is still alittle ripe, I guess it takes longer for her to ripen. Props to spur who gave me the heads up.

Well gang, with all of your help and support, I finally chopped both the AK48 and Power Skunk down after 10 weeks flowering (8 weeks veg).

I had them in total darkness for 72 hours and the last three waterings had molasses.


The verdict: Each yielded 2oz wet

I will post pics in a few. Right now I have them hanging in my new grow room (4x4x6.6) for a few days before I put them in glass jars.

Power Skunk (first picture) gave me 2oz while the AK48(second picture) gave me 2.1oz

I figure I will use 1/2 the weight when they dry out but still an ounce of each on my first grow with MG and CFL, I am so stoked. Took some pics hanging in my basement before I put them in the grow room.

The molasass in the water makes them smell really sweet so I cannot wait. I will post pics after 4 more days and give final weight.

smoked alittle of the AK48 last night and I have ti tell you it was well worth it. very smooth smoke, gave me alittle of the giggles but a nice body high which lasted for a good 90 minutes.

i got an ounce from each plant which was ok for me.

for anyone looking to do a MG/CFL on the cheap it is worth it but it is a bit slow, 18 weeks total. I will use a 600 digital Mh>HPS in my new grow room now with foxfarms stuff.

great stuff man! im excited to start my first grow with CFLs. it's good to see some nice results with CFLs. how was the power skunk?
