dual 600 watts or just a 1000 watts

to the guy that told me to just go ahead and get the big boy 1000 watt...............kick me in the nutz u were right but the deal was too good on the 600

given this i have a 4x4x6.5 secert jardin 120 .....great tent for 4 or 5 bushers at once


down to work ..............i am running autos while i dial in everything and learn they cover the bills and since so fast i can try a few different kind find what smoke does me the most benifit

a 1000 watt ballast and just the normal bulbs are 196 bucks the good hortilux the dual arc is 169

a 600 watt ballast plus cooltube with all the bulbs and whistles is 167 bucks .........but the lumens are more and can run 600w mh and hps same time and only 200 more watts in total

i currently have a 400 cfm running on low and the temp varible is slight maybe sucking out and expelling at 90 warm but not hot .....i was thinking i could just link them with ducting and increase the speed to medium or high ............the book saids good to 140 it rasied it about 15 20 to room with one

so what do u think
dual 600 for the power 2 bulbs mh and hps .......lower buy cost higher run cost
or 1000 watt with a dual arc...........much higher buy cost lower run cost

the dual 600s will be nicer...if your growing for you and you want the best id go with the dual 600s but ya higher run cost...and i would just run two hps btw not one of each..hope your going to run flouros for veg to save on electricity cost!

i ran a t5 before with some they are good for the first 10 days or so but i realy like the MH results .....i am not sure if it was the hot soil(to much goodies) of if it was the lighting but one plant has branches on branches

i just missed timed on planting and had some bad seeds so it is all off in the tent i am 14 days off what i should be and one of them needed the HPS light but the others do not .......and with them being autos i figured i go mix with the strandard bulbs untill i figure out what is some better 600..........

2 600w is better. I only run one 600w in my 4x4x7ft with great results on newer gen. autos. I also get the light close as I can 12-18in depending. Use bigger pots next time to get bigger plants I recommend super roots air pots I use 7gal.

I thought timer needed to be AMP rated. Power strip? Do you mean a light controller box (Like Titan Helios) or a power strip for say, Home Depot?
