where i come from, fag = language of hate and or possibly a cigarette. i don't know how it is in texas, but kids get suspended from school for saying shit like that here.

I have to disagree.. I think you're on the premise that I was using fag to mean something other than gay, which is uncommon in Texas (for adults.. not sure what little kids in school are saying.)

Fag is not the same as gay ... the two words carry very different connotations.
