drying

ok. so its been a while since posting and I have harvested my crop. Ive allowed my cuttings to dry on coat hangers for 5 days then i put them in a jar. So from here I will need a little help. Do I leave them over night in a cool dark place, closed, right? then, say today, I open it up to get some air then later close it back up, right? rinse and repeat? for how long?

hey gr1m after drying you put the bud in air tight containers overnight in a cool dark place. when you check them the next day if they are really wet then lay the bud out for the day then jar them back up. if there just moist leave the lid off the container for and hour then seal them back u and do the same the next day until you have reached your desired moisture level in the bud.it can take a week or two to reach your desired moisture level but the longer you cure the nicer the smoke will be. hope that helped

Ok so I open the jar up for an hour, is that the only time today that I do this until tomorrow morning right?

yea open the jar up for an hour daily. i like to open the jar for an hour in the morning so i can check the jar in the evening and if theres condensation in the jar i like to open the jar again and move the bud around then put the lid straight back on . just to make sure mold doesnt get hold.

I see. Ok will do. I will take some photos when im done with it. But the plant this came from yielded almost 1p. lots of buds after chopping the xmas tree top lol then 4 spears grew from it
