Drying without hanging

You can still use that bud to make hash, so don't bin it. If you make ice water hash, you are supposed to wait after you pour it through the work bag and skim off the mold spores on top. If doing alcohol it should be ok after the filtering, but I've never done it that way. Hope that helps a little.
I don't believe this - sorry. Since they recommend throwing the whole bread away when seeing mold spots i don't think it's enough that the spores float. But anyway - if you are desperate enough i guess people have been eating molden bread for centuries - just think it's very unhealthy and i will never become desperate enough to try it ;O)

If your mold issue isn't to severe I have heard of people baking there bud on low heat to kill some mold. U can google it. Haven't tried it so don't no If it works. Mold isn't necessarily bad cheese is made of mold I love cheese but the certain type of mold we r talking about isn't good and can cause some respiratory issues. I've done quite a bit of research on this and from what I can gather unless u have a compromised immune system a lil grey mould on your buds won't hurt u. It's people with aids and things like that ,that are affected by this mold after smoking moldy herb. I wouldn't throw it out or even hash it unless the mold is extreme. Also We have all smoked that dirty Mexican brick from time to time u think Pedro take the time to dry and cure his Mexican buds? They brick and package while it's still plenty moist so I would say there is definitely mold spours in that and hell I'm still breathing. Just don't sell your bud to any sickly people or dispensaries and learn from your mistakes and get a dehumidifier. Good luck. Good growing..

well my worst fears have been confirmed my bud have developed some mold.. i'm gutted as I've worked and waited so long for this I'll be damned if i will lose it all..

i have the buds hanging on a line over the box with a fan on them and some dessicant bags now but to get rid off the mold should i remove the buds from the stems?.

man im pissed.. :(

I can't do anything about my idiot humid climate..
Yes you can. Get a dehumidifier... And you'd better cut out all moldy areas extending to 2" past any visible mold and get that humidity DOWN. Dessicant bags will not cut it.

I've chopped all my buds off and am pretty much inspecting every single one.. the ones with mold i've binned some with just little bits ive trimmed..

real bring down after thinking i had the hard work done.. next time im going to make a drying box with fans and a hygrometer to ensure humidity is perfect.
