Drying problem

Sup guys and gals... So this is my second harvest and I dried my first too quick(4days) witch left a hay smell on my buds.... This time around I'm Trying to avoid that and drying for longer.. So I'm using a wedryer that has a fan and filter ( I think the fan might be too much breese over the buds) and I've all the buds wet trimmed off the stalk my temps are between 18-20°c and 50-65% humidity.... How do I slow my drying down so I can dry in 7-10days... I can't hand the plant full or leave on stalk due to my current situation... Any advice would be much appreciated

I am in a dry climate so I have the same issue.

I hang my stuff until the outside is crispy, 4-7 days based on the season, but the stems still bend and then put everything in the big yellow topped tups from Costco. After 10 days of burping everything ends up where I want it.

See I can't hang as I'm using a wedryer I have to wet trim and take everything off the branches and it's drying too fast if I could hang the plant whole I would but I can't :/

Place your buds in a paper bag inside of a garbage bag and open each periodically to monitor moisture
The bags slow down the drying

next time you harvest just make sure your plant stinks before chop, chop when your plant stinks the most. morning night?
then you can dry in 3 days and still keep the stank smell.. hay smell is chopping too early imo i dry 3-6 days depending on the time of year but always keep the smell! i dry in cardboard boxes with strings to hang them in...

You just need to hang the bud from a line and walk away for two weeks.

Man been drying bud the world over the same way yet all of a sudden its complicated.

Hay means you f'up and need to listen to better advice before you combine harvest this grow as well :-)

If I could hang it I would... using that rack is my only option as I don't have the space and don't want my neighbours smelling weed if I hang dry.... Ive hung before when I didn't have neighbours in a different house and it all worked out... I can't use the grow tent as its too cold when the lights are off and can't keep heat in that room without the light..

Bummer but lets hope it works, turn the bud often :-)
