Drying outside

Hey guys I was wondering if it was possible to dry your bud outside. I would set up a line and stuff then let them hang for a few days. One problem that i was thinking is the light. do the buds have to be in complete darkness to be able to dry properly?

I've been wondering the same thing actually. I was thinking it'd dry to fast and take away from the resin content but if anyone has tried or knows any more on this, please tell.

You want to keep it out of direct light while drying. Sunlight will cause it to dry out too fast. If your line was in a shaded area it would be alright

i was even thinking about just drying it at night time. where i live it is very dry and i don't think the nights get too cold. If the nights do get cold that would be cool if the plants turned purple =)
