Drying, cold temperature ?'s

Plan on harvesting about two weeks from now...where it'l be dried is in a cold house temps probably range from 55F to 65F. How will this effect drying the cold temperatures?

Usually in the house small fan electric heaters are used to keep temps suitable for growing. the fans blow dry air being its snowing outside not much moisture so it works out for flowering lowering the humidity but for drying I dont want the humidity too low.

anyway its going to be cold where theyre going to be dried perhaps 60F and if heaters are used it may dry the air too much. What kind of conditions should i provide with the cold temps for a good long slow cure?

For a reference my only other drying experience was during the summer where temps could be kept about 70-75F and actually the humidity was too high and i grabbed up a dehumidifier to lower the humidity.

Whats the optimal range humidity to dry...seems from what i gathered about 60% because the buds dry to somewhere around 57%. am i right wrong any comments appreciated.

I probably plan to chop off all fan leaves or leaves with the base sticking out off then chop at the base of the plant and hang dry it whole for a few days then cut apart the individual branches and hang those until dry my guess about 4-5 days. then trim the buds and jar.

you dont want a lot of humidity. you dont want a lot of heat. and you dont want a lot of light. keep them in a dark room with fans circulating the air around. cold temps shouldnt be a issue if they stay around 60-65. remember: light and high temps degrade thc. after the stems feel like they will snap and the buds have only slight moisture in the centers its time to cure. remember not the leave them in your curing container without ruffing them up for more than a few hours. this prevents mold.
