drying and curing weed in rolled joints

namaste guys i just harvested my plants yesterday. so what do u guys think that after 4-5 days of slow drying upside down with the whole branch, i crush and roll them up in a joint and then let them further to dry and cure rolled up so that the process of drying slows down and hence give it a better way of curing and better tasting joints? ...hop this method wont destroy my weed with mould?..thanks and om shanti

When you roll the joint, you will be compressing the plant material. I think there is a very good chance it will cause mold or at the very least a very poor cure. I would try one or two joints and see how it goes before doing it with the whole crop. Let us know your results.

hey thank you for your reply ... well i guess i will try for one joint i ll probably let it dry for 8-10 days and instead of curing in a cardboard box i will cure one bud in a rolled joint ..probably bit loosely packed to space it out in paper and let it cure..during the time of smoking i will jus pack it up and light it ..,,
oh and one more thing since i use the whole branch to cure it upside down do u think that liking putting a drop of water from the stem where it was cut will slow down the drying since the water will seep into the stem from the cut zone ?..say i will do that initially like twice after say day 2 and day 5 of drying ?

i wouldn't bother with the water. It's doubtful that it would seep into the stem and it might cause mold.

Your are missing what "curing" is all about..... try just a joint and let the rest cure.

ok thank you so much guys ..appreciate it ...will just try a joint and go with the normal curing with cardboard box as usual for a month and same thing for the joint ..let it cure it rolled up for a month after the weed dries aka being little moist for sweating it and will tell u how was the joint
