Dry Buds

I have been curing in mason jars for about 2 weeks. Some of my buds are getting dry and crunchy. Any suggestions on what I should do. I've been opening the jars for 30 minutes each day. Thanks for any help!

QUIT OPENING THE DAMN JARS!!!!........lol..........2 weeks,you don't have to burp' em no more.:).......also we used to put a little piece of lettuce in our jars if the buds got to dry or I heard on Riu a q-tip dipped in water or juice in the jar might helpGL.

Yu usually don't need to burp them after a week. Just open them once a week for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week to make sure everything is good. I also have the circular section of the lid flipped for the first week so the jar isn't always air tight. Throw a cannabis leaf or two in with your over-dried buds :)

put in the jar one leaf then close the jar for couple hours
the buds will be moist

Next time get a hygrometer to put in the jar, you can monitor the humidity, I strive for between 55% to 60%, but yea, sounds like you burped your jar too often, the remedires mentioned above could help, but usually once too dry you might not be able to revive them.

55-60% for dried bud? I thought you want 15-30. Just take it day by day and only your buds will tell you when ready.

Dry buds update. I used my cigar humidifier in my jar and got the humidity between 50-60% and happy days are here again. Thanks for all the advice!!

sweet if its stablized... Dont open it again for a week or 2 unless it goes up above 65
