Dry and Cure

So Im looking for good drying/curing methods. It is extremely important that I am able to bring out all the tastes and smells associated with my strains (Sour D especially. I have done my homework, but there are many techniques and opinions and I want to make sure this is done right.

I just harvested 4 of my babies on 9th and 10th. Ive closed off my Master bedroom bathroom and hung string back and forth. I didnt hang entire plants.I cut each branch and I'm hanging by the branch with fan leaves removed. Temperature is 69-73 degrees all day, but humidity is a bit low at 37%.

Sour Diesel growers please let me know what has worked for you to get that dank Diesel Smell/taste. The buds are caked with triches and my Sour Grape has an amazing grape smell.

Thanks

You need to deal with that humidity fast. 50% is low in dry, anything lower can be disastrous. You have great temps, but that RH needs to be around 60%, then once to cure you need to maintain 58-64% or near those numbers. Never below 55%, curing stops below that.

Grab a humidifier, the cool mist ones are cheap. You need distilled or RO water though or you'll have calcium and other minerals all over everything.

Drying you need-darkness, low but constant air circulation but no direct air blown on buds. Temps of 64-72 or so, RH of 55-70%. With most sized buds at those temps and RH you should be able to get 6-14 days of dry. The slow dry is very important as you already know.

Yes, a slow Controlled dry time is essential for taste and potency.
Buy some hydrometers if possible.
Your almost ready to jar them tomorrow. The outsides of the bud should be "crispy" and with your low humidity they may be already.
Lotta posts out there about dry and cure but I like the one I posted above, it works.
