Dropping to 0 tonight

I cant bring in, pots way too big. Figured ld ask instead of assuming they will be ok. They have always been ok before. But dont remember anything below 2 degrees. Also read spraying with water will keep them from freezing, not so sure about this one. Anyone?

Simply cover them with plastic, whatever you have. Keep the ambient air (frosted air) from getting on them.

Oh crap, I'm in S Ontario. I knew it was dropping to 6c, now calling for frost?

I had to bring them in once already.

I only had one encounter with frost, I was growing on the windowsill and was putting the plant out during the day catching the spring sun, late home one night and the leafs had a thin coat of frost, the main leafs died but the other growth was ok.

gotta any forced air kerosene heaters? the orange growers in FL spray water like a previous poster said.

i saved my tomatoes a few weeks ago with a 250w infrared bulb.

Yep frost advisory. Here we go again. I'm bringing my plants inside. On the plus side they make the house smell like fresh mj :weed:

Dude a couple sheets of newspaper draped over each and they will be fine

A good sized rubbish bag would work, it takes very little to keep frost off, you could chuck in a 5ltr can under filled with hot water.

In florida we would throw bedsheets over orange trees. Just one sheet thick. It worked, but im thinking herb and suds is right.
