Dropping RH in a 2x4 tent

Hi! I have a brand new setup. It is a 2x4 ac infinity tent, with an ac infinity in-line fan, and ac infinity oscillating clip fan. My setup is not conventional, because the whole floor of the tent is covered by a 2x4 foot no till bed. I am wondering what suggestions you all have for lowering humidity during flower. I have the whole floor covered, so I’m either thinking about a dehumidifier on the outside of the tent venting either in or out of the tent, or wondering if you all have any suggestions for a hanging dehumidifier that would be good for a 2x4. I’ve never heard of a hangable dehumidifier, and am just hoping you all have a suggestion for lowering humidity in a tent, without using any floor space of the tent

You don't need to hang dehumidifiers in your tent..

Just put a decent dehumidifier in the room where the grow tent is, the intake air will be blowing in dehumidified air, which will lower the RH in the tent.

With that much soil, and the entire floor of the tent covered, I don't think you'll want to waste inside space trying to mount anything inside the tent.

Thank you for the suggestion. That was what I was guessing was my only option to go with. Any recommendations on a specific dehum?

My room is the biggest in my apartment, at probably 15ftx12 ft. We are talking rh reaching up to 83% when it’s heavy, 62.7% is the lowest it’s reached, and an average rh of 75%. Thank you so much for the quick replies

for the actual 2x4 space you would not need a big one at all, but for the room it's in, that is a different story..

I got a 30 pint dehumidifier for a 10x13x7.5 ft room and this is what my numbers were before and after running it.

With a 30 pint dehumidifier I can control the RH in my 10x13 room with no problems, I can bring it down in the 30's with this unit in that room.

expect to put about a gallon of water in the air on that footprint..

A tip for you, get one that has continuous drain, with a hose attachment option..

It totally sucks to have to empty these tanks 3-4 times a day

If that tent is in a sealed room, the 30 pint should be plenty, but a 50 pint would probably be the better option..

I got the 30 pint and it works great, but I do wish I would have spared for the 50 pint.

Regarding cost of power, do you think that a 50 pint dehum would raise power bills a good little amount?

It shouldn't raise it too much.. Most newer dehumidifiers are Energy Star efficient and draw as little power as needed..

I think the 50 pint may be around the 500w range, but that wont be continuous draw.

If you cant do the whole house, lower as much as you possibly can..

High humidity will cause your house to fall apart a lot quicker then a dryer home.

I know this first hand with having to deal with a complete remodel due to a flooded basement.

I do also have another light I was looking to add into the setup for flower, would the added heat from that generally drop or raise humidity in your experience? Both my lights are full spectrum leds, so not too much added heat though
