I last watered Thursday pot is starting to get light again only watered a gallon with nutes. Trying to figure out if leaves are droopy due to the light or a under/over watering problem. Any help would be great.

Doesn’t look too bad. What someone told me on here is, if stems are north and leaves are south it’s over watered. If stems and leaves are both south it’s under watered. It rings truth I assure you. Yours don’t look too bad at all. Going by what that theory, your maybe a tad over watered, but dropping can be caused by numerous things. Leaves look healthy but can’t tell with the blurple on.

Time of day makes a difference. Plants will "let down" a bit later in the day. Tis normal. What time we're the pics taken?

First pic is from late last night before lights out but had been like that since I got home from work earlier in the day. Second pic is around 10 this morning

How do they look in the middle of the day? If they're standing up and look nice, then it's normal droop. It's cyclical.

Ok thanks, also is my soil seems to be staying at 6.9-7.0 and I can’t seem to get it lower. I’m trying to get it around 6.7 or is 7.0 fine?

I don't grow in soil, grain of salt here, I've read 6.5 for soil but.....
As far as the droop, just keep an eye on them. If you start seeing color changes etc, then worry

If your at 7, water with 6 and it will bring it down. When it comes down to 6.3-6.5 stick with that range. What are you using to measure ph?

PH pen then double checking with the liquid test. I also have a soil ph tester.

Don’t use the soil tester for ph it blows. Are you testing run off or are you using the soil tester to tell you it’s close to 7? In regards to watering I am the worst and have learned the hard way. Just when I think they need water I wait an extra day or two. I messed my plants up bad already becuase of my impatience.

I have this soil tester. I’ve been ph’ing my water to 6.5 watering waiting a day then test soil ph. And I think I’m having the same problem as you watering to soon.

Test the run off and don’t use that soil tester as a reliable test. Manually test the run off. If the run off is high ph with the drops, than you know your next move. The next move is to water with a much lower ph to bring it down. Have patience when it comes to watering, don’t be like me, I made the mistake for the greater good of everyone, so learn from it
. It took 8 days to recover from the over watering, with autos that is very precious time i wasted and could not afford. I did not water for 8 days FYI while it was drying out.

Ok thank you for your wisdom. This is an auto as well so hopefully it won’t take that long I’ve read little mess ups can really hurt the yeild of autos.
