'Droopy Leaves' - Normal?

Hey guys,
I have 2x critical mass females that are a few days into 12/12 now. They started looking a little droopy over the last two days. At first I thought perhaps it was environmental but they seem to be growing and doing well other than having droopy fan leaves.

Temps are around 70-80, pH is in the 5.5-6.2 range always, ppm is ~1400 right now. Fed with GH Grow/Bloom/Micro. No signs of burning or stress.

Is this anything to be worried about?

i was gonna say the exact thing, overwatering but looks like you are a running a hydro system... which i dont kno how u overwater in hydro. i never messed dro yet.

They're in a deep water culture system, not sure how its possible to overwater them in that, haha. I guess I'll see if they perk up soon and if not then I'll do a full res flush

need more airstones...need more oxygenation of the water...need LESS nutrients...1400ppm this early is way too much...

I'd also like to know how the root system looks...if its browning and looking like dog shit...yeah there is an issue there...but it just looks like the root system is suffocated due to lack of oxygenation somehow...the plants themselves don't look "unhealthy" except for being very light looking and droopy(but the light looking color might just be the photo)...

Roots look healthy and great, theyre a little bit brown but thats due to the micro nutrients (brownish colour stains the roots)

I have 4 airstones in the bottom of my res, oxygenation should not be the problem.

Here's a pic of the res (quite bubbly) and another of the guy on the right. Colour looks fine, the HPS light is throwing off my camera's colour balance a bit.

I'll switch out the res tonight once lights go on. What should my PPM be around?

For that little plant probably about 600-700 PPM of NUTRIENT PPM...so PPM your water subtract that from your total at the end...and take the PPM before you use PH down...those don't really count..if you are using tap water with a high PPM probably not a good idea...

What is the temp of the nutrient solution in the tank?

I can't measure right now due to lights off, but generally it's around 65' to 70', which I've read is optimal oxygenation temp. for DWC

edit: and yes, definitely switching out the res tonight! This is my first flowering run, my mistake.

totally agree with massah on this, temp of nutes tank being too high can cause browning of roots causing pithium presence in water which attacks plant in way displayed in your pics

also check that only roots are in the water, none of rockwool should be submerged. this can cause similar looking symptoms, good luck...i went back to soil after succuming to similar problems

Tank temps are quite low, 65-70f typically. I don't see a pithium attack, the roots look pretty okay. There's a little bit of brown but that can be attributed to the micro (brown colour stain) in the nutes. I changed the tank out a few hours ago so hopefully I'll see improvements in their condition soon. This is from a few minutes ago.

Hey guys, does anyone think that these symptoms could possibly be caused by a light leak? I just realized that my fan inside the cabinet has some red LEDs on it that might provide a tiny bit of light during the dark cycle..
