Droopy leaves and First riu post, wut up?!?

It has been 4 years since my last riu post!!! I missed you ALL.

Anyway, enough with the sentimental drama, lets grow some stankness!!

I have a slight concern with my plants, nothing HUGE but a concern nonetheless.

But first, lemme fill you all in on my grow. I have 4 babies that are about two weeks old. They have not be transplanted and are still in rather small containers (plastic solo cup). They are in a mix of vermiculite and potting soil mediums. I water about one time a day or two. LIGHT ferts have only been applied three times. My lighting, cfls out the ass. They are about 9 inches from the top of my plants and on the side of my plants, which is about 4 inches away. The cfls are a mix of the various options so to get all the spectrum of light i can and to save cash. I have used the FIM pruning technique. (For those unfamiliar, FIM= "F*** I Missed". Its from a grow bible and is basically topping the plant but only a small portion of the uppermost newest forming leaves). I did this because I wanted them real bushy and short, not a lot of room ova here, and I was planning on bending them sideways to accomadate for space. Plus bending always looks cool and turns out decent.

I have now acquired new ideas and space is no longer a big issue. I just need to finish the new area before moving the babies. But for now, they are fine in the original space.

OK!!
Now here come my problems:
1) One plant is very lightly dotted with a more yellowish tint than the rest of the plant.
2) At the very top of the same plant, it appears dark purple or maybe brownish.
Other than 1 and 2 above this plant appears to be thriving. If you can say that...

3) Next plant. This guy is my bushiest one but is starting to droop. It lived through some sort of stress as a tinier seedling. The stress caused yellowing of the tip of two true leaves. This happened to two of my four babies (not the plant mentioned in # 1 and 2 above). The only diff that I know of btw the other healthy 2 plants is that the healthy ones were germinated via a 24 hr soak in a cup of water and then placed in a wet paper towel w/ plastic on top so the humidity stayed up. The 2 undamaged ones went directly into the paper towel/plastic/darkness. Oh, and my early damaged babies are in solo sups while the other two are in regular pots, essentially the same size as solo cups.

4) My last problem is more of a personal thing. Its simply, I have not been on riu for a very long time and Im rusty.

Sorry for the lenth, tellin ya all that comes into my mind.
Help me out, and thanks.

You have been watering once maybe 2 times a day...? you got holes in bottom of cups for drainage...n you need to let the soil dry out completely before you water gain so roots can breath bro....n not sure if you said anything bout nutes...you shouldnt need any yet depending on what kinda soil you are using ??

OH, and the pic with the dead parts on the leaf, should i let it be and not prune that part off? Or trim it up? I had not cut it bc its just a babe and i was hoping it would fix itself if it was given enough time and love.

up to you dont think its gonna affect to much bro but learn the weight of the cup dry and when you water it or check a couple inches down in the soil make sure its dry you should be fine

Got ya. I am also pondering about when I should transplant. I dont want the taproot to freak out when it cant grow down anymore.

The ferts I used, lightly, are Hoagsland. Its a dope mofo, I work in a greenhouse and we use that exclusively. But I am gonna wait it out until I fert again.

As for the slight trimming of the newest growth at the top, any thoughts on that? Like, is it ok to do on lil babies? and How often should I do it for best results? I planned on doing it a lot, but the I finally got a larger setup in the works as well as a 600w hps to go with it. BUT for now im keeping them where they are and only using cfls.

Anyone else wanna add to it? I would like to know when YOU transplant into the larger container that will be the home for the rest of the plants life..??

ALSO, how do I start a journal or what not... some place to keep ALL of my pics and notes and stuff? I used riu, a while ago, a great deal of times. However I def do not remember the old pswd nor do I recall how the fuck I save my grow process online. Do I just keep posting/updating this thread?...had i known ida picked a better name for the thread....

2-3 weeks in the cups. Then to 1 gallon pots for 4-6 weeks then finish pots.

Start a journal I. The journal section and add all your photos to that.

But.. anyways. 2-3 weeks in my cups.. still as expected. Things got a lil edgy at the very start, threw me through a loop.. Been growing extremely hydrophillic plants for way too long, makes this crop seem like it does not need water... annnd thats where they get the name from, wouldn't keep bein called a weed if it did not grow like one dope gangsta..

I think overwatering too. The first pic could be light burn and the light set up looks to be inline with that. Just wait for the soil to dry out a little bit and you should be able to slide the whole thing out of the cup and transplant into a bigger pot with fresh soil and water it thoroughly. Wait probably 3 days at least before watering because the roots will have not filled up the pot yet and there will be plenty of moisture still there.

Have not watered in a day. The droopy one is looking a tad better but not worth a pic of it. Light burn can be ruled out, i think, They are only cfl and have constant fan blowing directly on bulbs and out the back. Temp has peaked at only 80f usually it stays at 72-75f. The top lights are not too close and the side lights are only 13w so I thought they would be fine where there are...

or am I still putting them too close?
