Hello All I am having what looks like a problem with my babies...basicly I had what I think was a heat stress problem and by cranking on the ac it went away ( had a taco effect on the leaves folding up ). ...so now that the ac has been cranked on and it is a solid 68-75 F...I noticed my leaves are curling down and my plant growth has somewhat stopped.. PLEASE let me know what you think based on the pics and what I can do to reverse the effect , I just had the taco effect and its been cured for 2-3 days. I just introduced a new feed into my water ...im using GH 3 part system I was starting from 1ml/g to 5ml/g..now im doing the veg 3 2 1 ...15ml/g - 10ml/g - 5ml/g.... and the diamond, florablend n flora licious

heres a little bit more about my set up... my ph. is always at 5.8 ..greentrees bucket system feeds 5 times a day because I forgot to put in the 4 by 4 cube so its in the smaller cube gets dry quicker....I got a water chiller temp is always 70f ...my room temp is 75f ...ppm are at 1100....they were at 700 before...my co2 ppm are at 1200
my rooms have vent systems and fans.

If its clawing then the nutes are too high, 1100 is huge in hydro. I never go above 750 in dwc with big plants. Plus the colder temp does not allow the plant too reach the full potential and barely let's it use the co2. So a higher temp would let it tolerate a higher number, but damn, not that high on a young plant.

so your saying my ppms? are to high ?? what should they be at when following the GH chart???...and what should I do now..I have a 100 gal rezzy with only 45 gal filled up...so should I just add water until my ppms go down to 800??

and the temp being too cold you meant the ac right??? its on 75 all day it just gets down to 68-70 whent he lights are off...when I had the temp at 75-80 they got heat stress from the lights..they are all 1000s 5x in one room...I heard I should have lowered them and turned them on 400 but they are at 1000 all the wayto the ceiling

Can you reduce the lighting? these plants are not ready for 5x 1000w and this is why they are clawing and stunted. Its more light intensity stress than heat stress. Plants that you would put under the 1000w are bushy healthy and a lot more developed than these stringy looking things.
