:roll: i have some sk1, growing in a closet in my garage, there 10week 12/12 and the buds seem fine, growing a little slow but, the main fan leafs are really drooping, not due to over feeding/warering, the leafs are a good green, healty looking, but there drooping.
on a nite now its starting to freeze over outside, and the room is cold on a nite and in a morning, the soil i really cold and takes about 3 to 4 hours to get warm 70/80. even under 400 hps
will the coldness slow my plants growth cos its so cold on a nite when there in darkness, and is that why the fan leafs are drooping,
advice welcome

I would say they are getting too cold. Do you run light at night or no? Can you bring it inside or put a heater out in the garage? I have my cabinet in the garage, but the I run the light at night totry to help that. I have to bring it in during the winter to the basement cause it gets too cold. :peace:

I would try to get the lights on at night for extra heat. Gradually do it over 2 weeks.

I am in no way qualified to answer but switching the cycle sounds like a good idea, them there yorkshire winters can be right cold they can....

Ya I agree with chiceh. I keep the lights on all nite and have them off during the day (off 10am-10pm for the buds, 12 noon to 6pm for the veg). This way, the cool nights don't bring down the grow room temps and it stays warm enough when its dark. I'd do 24 of light before I switch unless they're budding, otherwise you might send them into bud.

If they're in 12s, I'd just keep the light off one day when you'd usually have them on (9am to 9pm) and then turn the lights on that nite at 9pm. If you do 24 hours light when they're already in 12, it'll mess up their bud cycle. An extra 12 of dark won't be as bad. :blsmoke:

I do mine from about 7:30pm to 7:30am. That works well with my schedule to check on them and stuff.
I agree, just turn the light on that night at the time you want. Or you could adjust over time, your choice. It really won't effect the plants. (like a cloudy rainy day outside eh?):peace:
